What's new

v1.0.3:
- Leaving a singleplayer world now cleans up the stopped integrated server. When another mod kept a reference to it, the whole server stayed in memory, and every new session added one more next to the running one (about 550 MB per session in our test modpack). Once its thread has ended, its chunk tables, entities and datapack contents (recipes, functions, loot tables, advancements, structure templates) are emptied, and advancement trackers left in the game's shared criteria are unregistered.
- Known leaks from other mods are released: Liberty Villagers, Serene Seasons, Fabric API fake players, Jade and Flywheel. Each one was found in a heap dump of a real modpack. Only the references to the world or server you left are removed, and a mod that is not installed is skipped.
- The client copy of the recipes is emptied too once the old world's connection is closed, along with the old player's recipe book. The book is kept when you still use it after a respawn.
- The cleanup no longer names mods one by one. It empties the maps and lists the old world owns, including fields other mods add to the world with mixins, and including mods that extend the game's managers (Recipe Essentials keeps its own copy of every recipe that way). A container still used by the world you are in is never touched.
- If memory use goes over 90% while a cleanup is waiting, it runs right away.
- The log now says when a world or server you left is really freed from memory, or that it is still there 5 minutes later, which means another mod is holding it.
- Removed the instant cleanup on dimension change and its three mod-specific steps. Collective and Create already clean up after themselves, and clearing AmbientSounds' terrain scanner from outside while its thread was running could crash it.
- Removed the forced full garbage collection (System.gc()) 3 seconds after every dimension change. Java frees memory on its own.
- Now also available for Forge and NeoForge.
- Install it on the client. No config file. Drop-in replacement for 1.0.2.
