Dimension Caves adds 10 special underground cave types to the Overworld, inspired by every vanilla Nether and End biome. Explore underground and discover caves made from blocks normally found in other dimensions—all without leaving the Overworld!

• The End

• End Highlands

Features

Important

Dimension Caves generates its special caves as new terrain is generated.

For the best experience, start a new world after installing the mod. If you install it into an existing world, explore new, previously ungenerated chunks to find Dimension Caves.

Installation

1. Install the correct version of Minecraft Forge.

2. Place the Dimension Caves .jar file in your mods folder.

3. Launch Minecraft with Forge.

4. Create a new world or explore new chunks.

5. Start mining and see which dimension cave you discover!

No trip through a Nether or End portal required.

⚠️ Important Notice About Future Forge Versions

I will soon be discontinuing support for Forge versions below 26.2, including Forge 1.20.1.

I've decided that I want to move forward and focus my mod development on Forge 26.2 rather than continuing to maintain mods across many older Minecraft versions.

For now, I also do not plan to move to Forge 26.3.

My goal is to keep my upcoming mods and updates focused on 26.2 and help build up its mod ecosystem. I would love to see Forge 26.2 develop a large collection of mods similar to what Minecraft 1.20.1 has today.

Older versions of my mods may remain available to download, but they may no longer receive new features, updates, or fixes once support is discontinued.

Going forward:

Forge 26.2 will be my main modding version.
