DGmodules v1.0.7 Update Overview

This release targets Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge and introduces several new features related to Chaos technology, module advancements, and host item protection.

Major Updates

Added the “Chaos Detonation Device”

  • Designed for the 14 Chaos Crystal entities found on the Chaos Island.

  • Place it on the block directly beneath a crystal.

  • The device explodes after a 5-second countdown.

  • Uses a custom singularity diffusion rendering effect without calling Minecraft’s particle system.

  • Deals damage equivalent to the Chaos Guardian’s attacks from Draconic Evolution.

  • Temporarily disables the Chaos Crystal’s defenses.

Added a New Method for Obtaining Tiny Chaos Fragments

  • A Dragon Heart, Nether Star, and Diamond will transform when affected by the same explosion.

  • Each conversion produces 2 Tiny Chaos Fragments.

  • The recipe has been added to JEI.

Added a Creative Mode Configuration for Dangerous Modules

Configuration option:

dangerous_modules.affect_creative_players

  • Disabled by default.

  • Applies to the Chaos Laser and Cataclysm Arrow modules.

Added an Independent DGmodules Advancement Tree

  • Added corresponding advancements for all modules.

  • Advancements are divided into Wyvern, Draconic, and Chaotic technology tiers.

  • High-power modules use challenge-style advancement notifications.

Added the “Stabilization Module”

  • Only protects the host item in which it is installed.

  • Prevents anyone other than the owning player from replacing, dropping, or modifying the item’s NBT data or components.

  • Supports equipped items, held items, Curios slots, and configurable standard backpack inventories.

  • Does not use per-tick polling.

  • Inventory interactions in Survival Mode, including normal clicks and Shift-click bulk transfers, have received dedicated fixes.

Stabilization Module Identity System

  • Maximum stack size is 1.

  • Each host item can contain only one Stabilization Module.

  • Every installed module has its own unique UUID.

  • UUID data supports saving, copying, and network synchronization.

  • Missing or duplicated UUIDs from older saves are repaired automatically.

Other Improvements

  • Fixed various issues involving module host detection, component writing, and container interactions.

  • Improved Chinese and English localization, item models, textures, and recipes.

  • Optimized Phase Shield modules, damage-related modules, and their associated network synchronization logic.
