DevDeiff Weirdssentials

DevDeiff Weirdssentials is a growing, community-driven Fabric mod for Minecraft.

The idea is simple: new mechanics will be added over time based on the most voted suggestions from DevDeiff’s YouTube videos. Each update expands the mod with new weird, funny, chaotic, or unexpected features chosen by the community.

How It Works

This mod is part of an ongoing YouTube experiment where viewers suggest and vote for the next mechanics to be added. The most popular ideas can become real features in future versions of the mod.

Expect strange mechanics, silly interactions, cursed ideas, and Minecraft nonsense powered by the community.

DevDeiff Weirdssentials 1.3.0 - Mega Community Update

This release bundles several community-voted mechanics into one chaotic build: Advancement Roulette, Subscriber Arena Royale, and Mob Mimic.

Advancement Roulette

Unlocking advancements is now dangerous.

What it does

Whenever a player unlocks an advancement, the mod can trigger a chaotic teleport event.

• The player may be teleported to a random location.
• Some teleports can also send the player to a different dimension.
• A short countdown appears before teleporting.
• Portal particles appear during the countdown.
• The player receives temporary invulnerability after teleporting.
• keepInventory is automatically enabled to make the chaos less punishing.

How to use it

No setup is required.

Just play Minecraft normally and unlock advancements. When an advancement is triggered, the roulette can activate automatically.

Subscriber Arena Royale

The community arena system is now included.

Subscriber NPCs can fight to the death inside an arena. This is designed for community events, videos, tournaments, and subscriber battles.

What it does

• Loads subscriber fighters from a config file.
• Spawns subscriber NPCs as custom Pillagers.
• Each fighter shows the subscriber name above their head.
• YouTube fighters are marked in red.
• TikTok fighters are marked in black.
• Boss/custom boosted fighters are supported.
• Fighters battle automatically until only one remains.
• Damage ramps up over time so battles do not last forever.
• Round winners are saved automatically.
• If an online player has the exact same name as one of the fighters, their fighter is visually marked and tracked.

How to create an arena

Go to one corner of the arena and run:

/devdeiffarena pos1

Then go to the opposite corner and run:

/devdeiffarena pos2

The arena position is saved automatically.

How to start a battle

Run:

/devdeiffarena start

The mod will spawn the next available round of subscriber fighters.

How to reset the arena

Run:

/devdeiffarena reset

This clears the current arena battle.

How to check the current arena status

Run:

/devdeiffarena status

How to reload the subscriber list

After editing the subscriber config, run:

/devdeiffarena reload

Then start the next battle with:

/devdeiffarena start

Mob Mimic Update

Kill a mob, steal its form, steal its power.

What it does

When a player kills a mob:

• The player transforms into that mob.
• The player gains a special ability based on that mob form.
• The form is synced between server and client.
• The player is rendered as the mob form.
• The player returns to normal when touching water.
• The player returns to normal on death.
• The player can also clear the form manually with a command.

How to transform

Kill a mob.

Examples:

• Kill an Enderman to become an Enderman.
• Kill a Creeper to become a Creeper.
• Kill a Spider to become a Spider.
• Kill a Skeleton to become a Skeleton.

How to use the mob ability

Press:

R

The ability depends on the current mob form.

Backup command:

/devdeiffform ability

Mob abilities

• Enderman Form: teleport ability.
• Creeper Form: explosive blast.
• Blaze Form: fire burst.
• Spider Form: leap ability.
• Zombie Form: rage-style melee boost.
• Skeleton Form: ranged attack.
• Chicken / flying forms: flap-style movement ability.
• Other mobs receive a generic mob surge ability.

How to return to normal

You return to your original form when:

• You touch water.
• You die.
• You use the clear command.

Clear command:

/devdeiffform clear

How to check your current form

Run:

/devdeiffform status

Other existing mechanics

This build also keeps previous weird mechanics from earlier versions:

• Sneaking plays random fart sounds.
• Sneaking can trigger an accident effect.
• Sneaking for long enough can spawn the Mondongo block.
