This update was kindly provided by a contributor on github, who decided to take matters in their own hands to add the following features to the road mod! Give E__Man some love and give a star to his fork of my github repo!

Changes:

  • Sign can be rotated in 16 directions (instead of 4)
  • All road blocks come with 4 different height: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 (default), 1 (full cube) See crafts and how to make slopes in the readme file. Change in the way redstone-controlled traffic lights work (no longer switch on every impulse)
    • powered on = yellow/red
    • powered off = green.
  • A few new road signs (English translations not guaranteed)
  • Added a config file to disable asphalt generation (untested, hope it works)
  • Sign posts can be used to connect traffic lights (and only traffic lights) to redstone. They are bad conductors, therefore the signal's intensity decreases twice as fast as with redstone powder (it can travel only 8 blocks instead of 16, but it can go up and down easily).
  • Updating should not break your map, but I suggest you save it anyway before trying.

I am marking this as beta, as i have not tested it a lot, but it seems to work fine, I'll update the status to release once i find the time to test it better!
