What's new
Delvefold 1.4.1 — Host-Aware Unified Ores
This maintenance release makes Unified Ores trust obvious ore variants while continuing to flag genuinely ambiguous blocks for review.
Fixed
- Clear conventional ore names no longer receive a blanket “Needs review” warning when a mod does not provide c:ores/<material>.
- A family containing safe variants and one unusual variant now marks only the unusual variant for review instead of treating the entire family as unsafe.
- Tagged Nether ore variants now automatically use #c:netherracks as their replacement host.
- Tagged End ore variants now automatically use #c:end_stones as their replacement host.
- Nether and End host names are recognized in both prefix and suffix forms, while material names such as End Steel remain correctly classified as their own material.
- Safe variants now show the detected host and replacement tag in their tooltip.
- Automatically detected replacement tags remain fully editable in the ore-rule screen.
- Decorative and unusual hosts such as basalt, blackstone, tuff, granite, and similar variants remain review-required when their replacement host cannot be determined safely.
Compatibility
- No configuration migration or save rewrite is required.
- Configuration schema remains version 2.
- The public Delvefold API remains version 1.
- Client/server protocol is now version 14.
- Install the identical Delvefold 1.4.1 JAR on every client and the server.
Verification
- Verified 683 unit tests.
- All 40 required NeoForge GameTests passed.
- JSON and translation validation passed.
- Clean release build and static checks passed.
- Dedicated-server startup and orderly shutdown testing passed.
- Base, JEI-only, EMI-only, and combined recipe-viewer client checks passed.
