DeluxeLib is a core animation and technical framework designed to power advanced entity mechanics and immersive visual features in Minecraft. While primarily built as a required dependency for upcoming content mods, it fundamentally upgrades how animations are handled within the game engine.
🌟 Current Features & Player Experience
Currently, the library introduces a highly polished Animation Blending System.
- What it does: It intercepts standard animation states and smoothly blends the keyframes between different actions.
- How it affects the user: Say goodbye to rigid, robotic, and snappy movements when interacting with custom mobs. When an entity transitions from walking to running, or from an idle state into a sudden attack, the blending system calculates a seamless, fluid transition. Players will experience a much more lifelike, immersive, and visually pleasing environment where creatures react naturally without jarring animation cuts.
🚀 Upcoming Features (The Roadmap)
This library is in active development and will soon expand to serve as the backbone for complex systems across versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 (Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric). Future updates will introduce:
- Custom Entity Framework: A robust foundation for complex AI, precise hitboxes, and specialized rendering, allowing for highly tactical and unique mob behaviors.
- Immersive 1st & 3rd Person Animations: Overhauling the player's perspective to make combat, item usage, and movement feel significantly more dynamic and impactful.
