This mod is very unfinished and problems may occur.

Delta-M stands for change in Minecraft. This mod changes basic mechanics of Minecraft while also adding new ones.

Current features

- The mod changes the way mining works, by making it necessary to chisel the nuggets of ore out of the ore blocks.

- The mod changes tree chopping, by making the trees fall down.

- The mod changes the way tools are crafted, by having you craft the individual parts of the tool and put them together.

- The mod changes the way metals are melted, by adding a crucible in which metals have to be melted to liquid metal. This liquid metal can be crafted together with casts to get metal tools.

- The mod changes the way food is gathered, by dropping all body parts of an animal when you kill it. These body parts have to be cut up using meat cleavers.

- The mod changes the way food is eaten, by having you take bites out of the food.

- The mod changes the way health and hunger are displayed, by replacing it with vague status texts from the player. "I'm hungry" "I'm fine" etc.

Starting a World with Delta-M

If you want to create a Delta-M world, you will have to select "Delta-M World" as your World-Type when creating a new world. If you have a Server, replace world-type in your server.properties with "DeltaM". When you first load in, you will notice that there is a house in front of you. In this house, you will find everything you need to first start out. In the attic, you will find a chest with tools that you will need.

Recipes

Crucible Not-clay crucible

The Crucible. This is one of the most important items in the mod since you will melt metals with this. If you find a metal (currently only iron), place your Crucible down and right click it with the nuggets in your hand. Then pick up the Crucible by right clicking while sneaking and put that into the furnace. This will melt the metal into liquid metal. With this, you can make casts out of tool heads and in the case of pickaxes, pickaxe bodies.

Pickaxe Handle

Pickaxe Handle: You will need this to either make a pickaxe by combining it with the Pickaxe Head or making a cast out of it with liquid metal. If you make a cast out of this, you can make iron pickaxe handles, which you need for an iron pickaxe.

Pickaxe Head

Pickaxe Head: You will need this to either make a pickaxe by combining it with the Pickaxe Handle or making a cast out of it with liquid metal. If you make a cast out of this, you can make iron pickaxe heads, which you need for an iron pickaxe.

If you combine the pickaxe handle and the pickaxe head, you will get a pickaxe.

If you combine the iron pickaxe handle and the iron pickaxe head, you will get an iron pickaxe.

Meatcleaver

Meatcleaver Handle: Combine this with a Meatcleaver Head of any kind to create a meat cleaver. Iron Meat cleavers are more effective than stone ones.

Meatcleaver Head

Meatcleaver Head: You can either make a stone meat cleaver out of it or a meat cleaver head cast which you need to create an iron meat cleaver.

Same combination logic as the pickaxe.

Tools and their uses

- Chisel

This is used for chiseling nuggets out of ore blocks. This is the only way of mining ores.

- Meat cleaver

Used for getting the meat out of animals. Place the body part and right click it using this tool.
