Deliberate Dubiousness
A grab-bag of things made for one family's world: new gear, big animals to ride, golems, clay armies, working furniture and a quarry rig. Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge. Needs GeckoLib; Patchouli adds the guide book (a book + a ruby).
Gear
- Ruby: ore deep underground (Y -48 to 48), tools between diamond and netherite, armour, ruby blocks.
- Obsidian tools and armour: slow, very durable, knockback-proof.
- Felling axes (wood to obsidian): fell a whole natural tree from one log. Sneak to chop a single log.
Creatures
- Ruby, emerald and obsidian golems, built like iron golems (a T of four blocks + carved pumpkin). Emerald golems heal nearby villagers and players; obsidian golems ignore fire, lava and explosions. Ruby golems also turn up in villages.
- Bison, moose, elephants and mammoths in their biomes. Tame with their favourite food, then ride with a Large Animal Saddle (found in chest loot). Elephants carry three, mammoths two.
- Clay soldiers in 16 colours, plus clay horses. Different colours fight; give them sticks, flint, leather and wool to gear them up.
Home
- 45 furniture pieces: a TV with 8 animated channels, a computer with a slideshow, two-block desks, washer, dryer, fireplace, lamps, clocks that show the in-game time, paintings, a working sink, a toilet you can sit on, a trash can.
- 14 plushies, found in chests.
Machines and travel
- Quarries (iron 3x3, gold 5x5, diamond 7x7): dig down to bedrock, natural blocks and ore only, never your builds. Run on furnace fuel or Forge Energy; speed and range upgrades; empty into any chest or pipe.
- Obsidian boat: floats on lava and keeps its rider from burning.
