v1.1.1 Changelog

  • v1.1.1 is now designed for Default Dark Mode 2025.5.1 (Minecraft 1.21.4+).
  • Reintroduced pack.mcmeta
    • this has been reverted, I made sure that it specifies support for 1.21.6+ in the pack.mcmeta.
    • Increased high_inclusive pack format from 61 to 63
    • Increased min_inclusive pack format from 46 to 56
  • Now made for Fabric 1.21.6-pre1.
    • This mod is backwards compatible for snapshots 25w19a-25w21a.

How to use

  1. Install Default Dark Mode: Patcher (1.1.0+)
  2. Start the game—the patcher will automatically uncompress the zip file, apply the new files I mentioned above, and recompress it as a new resource pack.
  3. Once patched, uninstall Default Dark Mode: Patcher—it’s mostly just a one-time-use tool designed to modify and create the new Resource Pack for 1.21.6+.
