Deep Mob Learning: Refabricated is a rework of the original Deep Mob Learning mod for modern versions of Minecraft.
The mod is focused in providing an alternative way of acquiring mob loot in Minecraft, putting the player in intense duels with the Matrix Glitches in order to extract some matter out of it.
This mod is still in development, any bug reports, suggestions, contributions, etc are welcome.
Check out our Discord guild for support, suggestions, feedbacks, or just chatting around
How to Play
Unfortunately we don't have any ingame tutorial yet, but you can check out or wiki on GitHub, it will teach you everything you need to know about the mod. Soon I'll be implementing a Patchouli of ingame book, but we don't have it done for now :/
I need your help
No, I'll not be asking for money.
I'm not having too much time to play and work on the balance of the mod items and mechanics. My job, my school and the development of DML itself takes so much time that I just can't play.
So I'd like to hear the opinion of people who are actually playing with it, tell me what you are thinking of the mod so far. Report me bugs, broken mechanics, too OP items (or even items that needed to be more powerful than they actually are), etc. I'd be grateful to hear everyone's opinion, just leave a comment in this section and I'll read and I'll consider your opinion.
It also Features
Roughly Enough Items (REI) Integration
This mod provides integration with REI. If you have it installed you will be able to see all the custom recipes in-game.
Highly Customizable
This mod features a highly-customizable environment. If you are a server owner or a modpack creator, most of the mod's behavior can be changed via datapacks and config files. Check this out.
If you have ModMenu installed, you can easily access some settings from the ingame esc menu.
Easter Eggs (?)
Not sure about this one, you may have to find it out by yourself.
Open Source
As most of the Minecraft mods, Deep Mob Learning: Refabricated is completely open source and accepting every kinds of contributions. Check this out.
Special Thanks
I'd like to thank the original author of this mod, Iteration Funk, for supporting the idea and letting me use most of his resources and concepts. Check out his Discord guild, he has a lot of cool mods and modpacks.
This is a beta, there is much more coming
You can check out our issues, tasks and milestones to see whats planned. Feel free to leave a feedback there.
Thank you for refabric.
But its without Simulation Chamber on 1.16.5 useless because addon which adds Simulation Chamber is not supported on this version.
Is there any chance that you add this?
Thx for answer.

That'd be up to @ProjectET , but it's unlikely it'll happen.
Putting this mod into my modpack. I was wondering if there was a way to add data modules for modded entities and if so how would I go about doing it? Thanks!
In reply to GamerBolts:
At the moment you cannot add custom data modules; you can, however, add any entity into the existing data models' mob tag list, allowing them to count as data contributions and eligible for loot generation on Loot Fabricators. To do so, you must have prior knowledge as how datapacks and minecraft's tag system work. Then, you can add the mob's id to one of the following tags: https://github.com/NathanPB/DeepMobLearning-Refabricated/tree/main/base/src/main/resources/data/dml-refabricated/tags/entity_types
In reply to Luligabi12:
I will try to learn datapacks. Seems necessary to get what I want :) Thanks for the help!
Hi, I have something of a balancing request. Currently I can just place a few golems and boats in the arena and cheese the whole trial, defeating the glitch and mobs effortlessly. With just an advanced key with no affixes I can easily get full glitch armor and quite a few pristine matter for upgrading, sometimes defeating the glitch before it even spawns anything. Maybe including the glitch in the list of mobs a golem can't attack or preventing other entities other than players being in the arena could work.
In reply to themegaxplus:
This is of great help. The boat trick never went to my mind when I was working in the mod, I'm likely to keep it because this was too high IQ. I'll do something about the golems next update, which I do not have any ETA to make it available
Thank you so much for feedback
how do i charge the armor? (playing all of fabric 3) used a netherite enchanted armor + glitch ingot in a smithing station, ther i get the 0/16 durability item, cant get this durability to go up
In reply to bodelane:
Right click the armor and put a charged data model inside of it
In reply to NathanPB:
oooh, ok, thanks!
I was wondering what the matter condenser is for?
In reply to ralseiplayzde:
you use it to upgrade the armor
Will this be updating for 1.17? Just curious if it's still active.
In reply to kaviskryptic:
Sure, but the mod got pretty big and its taking some time to update. Next week it should be out
In reply to NathanPB:
That's really good to hear! I can't wait to test it out :D
In reply to kaviskryptic:
The very first 1.17 alpha preview is available, but untested
In reply to NathanPB:
Awesome! Definitely going to test it out now
In reply to NathanPB:
So when I was testing with my modpack, I ran across the issue with coal blocks simply disappearing, regardless if I was holding redstone in my hand or not. And even if I was, it would not give me Soot-covered Redstone. I disabled the mod and the issue of coal blocks simply disappearing when left clicked was gone.
But interestingly enough, if I placed down coal blocks when the mod was disabled, then logged back in with the mod enabled, I would then get soot-covered redstone, and those coal blocks would not disappear
Now when I was "testing" it with it isolated from other mods (aside from fabric API and fabric kotlin of course), I would launch, create world, then soon after spawning in, I would crash.
I hope this helps!

Just to not leave an unanswered comment, the answer was posted in the github issue you made =)
