Decorative Distractions is a Minecraft mod that adds a variety of decorative blocks and items, and a few mechanics for your builds. From colorful crystal variants to new stone variants and tintable blocks.

Features

Stone Sets

Expand your masonry options with new smooth and smooth brick variants for existing stone types:

• Stone Types: Diorite, Andesite, Granite, Deepslate, Tuff, and Blackstone.
• Variants:
  • Smooth: A sleek, polished look.
  • Smooth Bricks: A refined, yet still smooth brick pattern.
• Complete Sets: Each variant includes Stairs, Slabs, Walls, Buttons, and Pressure Plates, because texturing on builds is important.

Tintable Blocks

Add a splash of custom colour to your world with Tintable Blocks. These blocks can be dyed any colour and will even change the colour of grass placed on top!

• Blocks: Tinted Amethyst, Tinted Stone, and Tinted Moss, Tinted Glowstone, and more, even with mod support too.
• Stairs & Slabs: Tintable variants are also available for stairs and slabs.
• Colourful: Each block can be dyed any colour, just like leather armour.

Mechanics & Tools

• Dye vat: A new machine block, functioning like a furnace that takes red, green, and blue dye, and uses it to automatically dye the tinted blocks, with support for automation similar to furnaces.
• Mortar and Pestle: A new crafting tool used to grind crystal shards into Pigments for another way to obtain dyes for the dye vat.
• Paintbrush: Another crafting tool used to convert regular blocks into their tintable variants
• Pigments: Pigments are an alternative to dyes, and can be crafted from the Tinted Shards allowing for a renewable dye obtaining system for the dye vat.
