Changelog
[1.1.0] - 2026-09-03
A complete overhaul of the Teleporter and Portable Teleporter.
Bigger Teleporters
- Teleporters can now be built at almost any size. Instead of the one fixed shape, you can build a rectangular portal frame like a Nether portal, up to a 23x23 structure (a 21x21 opening).
- Your existing teleporters still work. The original small teleporter is simply the smallest size, so nothing you have already built needs changing.
- The portal fills the whole opening. Step into any part of it to travel, not just the middle.
- You arrive where you entered. Walk through the left side of a wide portal and you come out on the left side of the destination, with your height through the portal kept as well.
- You keep your heading. Walking east through a portal now leaves you facing east on the other side instead of being spun around to face north.
- Portal effects cover the whole portal rather than sparkling in one corner.
- Breaking any part of the frame shuts the portal down until you repair it.
- Server owners can set the maximum portal width and height in the config.
Redesigned Portable Teleporter
- The screen is now built around your destinations. The old frequency management controls have been replaced with a large, scrollable destination list.
- Every destination shows what you need at a glance: name, owner, who can access it, which dimension it leads to, whether it is usable right now, and what the trip will cost.
- Click a destination to select it, then hit Teleport. Double-click to go immediately. Browsing the list will never teleport you by accident.
- Search and filters. Type to find a destination by name or owner, and filter by Public, Trusted, Private or Favorites.
- Clear status for every destination — Ready, Offline, Invalid, Obstructed, Insufficient Energy, or No Access — so you always know why you cannot travel.
- Energy is shown up front, both the cost of the trip and what your teleporter has stored, before you commit to it.
- The window is wider so names and details no longer scroll past.
Destination Options
- A new Options screen holds everything to do with managing a destination, keeping the main screen focused on travel.
- For destinations you own you can rename, delete, change who can access it, and manage the players you have shared it with.
- Destinations owned by someone else show no owner-only controls.
Sharing Destinations
- You can now share a specific destination with another player without making it public.
- Pick players from a list instead of typing usernames. The picker shows everyone who has played on the server, with their skin, their current name, and whether they are online, and you can search it.
- Sharing survives name changes, server restarts, and the owner being offline. Removing someone's access takes effect immediately.
- Shared players can travel to a destination, but nothing more. They cannot rename it, delete it, change its access, or share it onward.
- Shared destinations never reveal their coordinates. Someone you share with can use the destination without ever learning where it is.
Favorites and Quick Teleport
- Mark one destination as your favorite. It shows a star and is easy to pick out of the list.
- A new "Quick Teleport to Favorite" keybind (default: Y) sends you straight to your favorite from anywhere, as long as you are carrying a Portable Teleporter. It does not need to be in your hand.
- If it cannot send you, it says why on the action bar — no favorite set, no teleporter on you, not enough energy, destination unavailable, or access revoked.
Notes
- Existing teleport networks, frequencies, and player data carry over. Nothing needs to be rebuilt.
