This mod was created to fix and tweak various other mods within my DDSS2 modpack
that aren't supported anymore on Minecraft version 1.16.5.
As for now this Project involves the following features/changes:
Vanilla Minecraft:
- Sugarcanes are now affected by bonemeal and they also growth much faster when using Cyclic Sprinklers or Industrial Foregoings Fertilizing machines on it. This wasnt possible at all.
- Tweaks hunger values after death. You start with 50% hunger.
- Shear behaviour has been totally overhauled and work now as intended, pretty broken in 1.16.5 by default
FTB Chunks:
- Enderman cant pickup or place blocks in claimed chunks anymore
- Dirt,Fire,Snow,Gravel and Sand Creeper (Specialmobs) cant spit out blocks in claimed chunks but they still explode and hurt players
- Tiny TNT (AE2) doesent blow up stuff in Claimed Chunks anymore
Pipez:
- All Pipez upgrades now have filters enabled by default. This wasn't possible before without reaching higher-tier upgrades.
BYG:
- Treefarms and all natrual growing trees modified by BYG cant break and replace Tile Entities like machines or pipes anymore
Masterful Machinery:
- Fixes an issue with fluid/tick recipe outputs when using custom blocks within the structure created with Kubejs.
- Energy Input/Output hatches now stops "eating" energy when full
- Pipes no longer randomly “forgets” how to pull fluids/items/energy from Masterful Machinery hatches after restarting the server. No more manual pipe re-placement needed.
- Machine GUI data is synced every 5 ticks instead of every tick
- GUI updates are sent only to players tracking the relevant chunk and unnecessary all-player packet broadcasts are prevented
- Quality of Life Update: Flexible Machine I/O Hatches:
- Move Ports Anywhere: You can now place Input/Output ports in any slot that expects a standard Machine Hull!
- Patch Up Holes: Don’t need a fluid hatch where the blueprint puts one? Swap it out for a standard Hull block to close the spot.
- Custom Wiring: Design your machine's I/O layout to fit your base’s cabling, not the other way around.
- Note: Structural components like Glass, Vents, or special Blocks are protected and cannot be swapped, preserving the machine's aesthetic and balance.
SilentGear:
- Resolves an issue where SilentGear enchantments are not applied correctly in an Anvil.
Industrial Foregoing:
- Fixes the "show working area" issue on all IF machines with a custom rendering box
- Enchantment Extractor finally accepts only books and wont destory other items by accident
- Fixed visual energy bar desync on servers. Resolved an issue where the energy bars of certain machines (e.g. the Plant Sower) would appear permanently empty or glitchy, even when the machine was powered. The One Probe showed the correct power level, but the GUI showed 0% or an empty bar.
BetterEnd Forge:
- Fixes Better End Respawn Obelisk; it accepts now any kind of amber as fuel to set a spawnpoint
- Fixes End Portals and Pillars not stacking on top of each other
Bloodmagic:
- Changes Cap requirements for T3, T4 and T5 Blood altar + Including Guidebook overhaul
- Fixed a crash caused by Redstone Comparators reading certain Blood Altar states.
- Added protection against invalid Blood Orb capacities and division-by-zero errors.
Wesley Roguelike Dungeons:
- Disabled dramatic Music Cutting in and out randomly in overworld by wesley's dungeons
- WRD’s global world tick logic is restricted so it does not run redundantly once per loaded dimension.
- WRD global variable sync packets are now coalesced/throttled instead of being sent constantly. This reduces packet spam, NBT allocation pressure, NetGuard/network-check overhead, and background server load.
- Fixed an issue where certain mobs affected by the Ghastly effect could spawn Vex on death. This could lead to large numbers of stray Vex accumulating around long-running mob farms, causing unnecessary server lag over time.
Simply Storage Networks:
- Fixes a server-side crash in Storage Networks due to a recursion loop
Space Bosstools:
-Fixed a critical issue where players would take damage or crash the server (NullPointerException) if they removed their space suit while inside an Oxygen Bubble.
-The Oxygen Bubble now correctly provides full immunity to space hazards (suffocation, pressure) without requiring any armor.
-However, the Oxygen Bubble does not protect you against hot planets such as Mercury, without a Netherite Space Suit.
Serene Seasons:
- Reduced unnecessary crop-related calculations in dimensions where seasons are disabled
- Seasonal crop mechanics still work normally in enabled dimensions.
- Improves server performance in dimensions such as the Undergarden without changing normal crop or bonemeal behavior.
Cyclic:
- Excavate Enchantment works now on Redstone, Nether Quartz and Urananite too
Custom Machinery:
- Custom Machines can now output Items with any NBT correctly
- Fixed a rendering issue where custom machines would occasionally have one or more faces appear completely black, regardless of the surrounding light level.
-Added a performance fix for Custom Machinery machines rapidly switching between running and error states when Energy/t or Fluid/t supply is unstable.
-Previously, this could cause excessive client sync, render updates, and repeated sound start/stop events, resulting in major FPS drops.
-The patch now suppresses very short recovery states until the machine can run continuously again.
-Actual machine logic, recipe progress, and energy/fluid consumption remain unchanged.
Astral Sorcery:
- Fixed a Rendering Crash within the Iriscedent Altar when using Item Relays while Embeddium is active
POWAH:
-Reactors using Liquid Coolant (Water, LQ,MQ,HQ Coolant) will now consume the fluid over time. It is no longer a "fill once and forget" system.
Tinkers Construct:
- This fixes the issue of modded entities randomly melting into the wrong type of blood when in the Tinker's Smeltery
Mekanism / The One Probe:
- This update resolves a rare client crash that occurred when looking at Mekanism machines on dedicated servers with The One Probe active.
- This fix specifically targets "Server-to-Client" communication. If you play on a multiplayer server, the stability of your game will be significantly improved.
- Downside is Mekanism<->The One Probe info-bar is now limited on servers to ensure stability. (Singleplayer unchanged and full info)
JourneyMap:
- Resolves performance issues and log spam caused by JourneyMap's interaction with specific modded entities (e.g., Aquaculture, Special Mobs).
- This effectively stops the log spam at the source (by forcing fallback icons for buggy mobs) and hardens the logging engine against crashes (by handling null exceptions safely).
- Added a compatibility patch that applies performance-friendly default settings for new JourneyMap installations.
- Reduced several default rendering and mapping quality settings to lower client-side rendering overhead.
- Existing JourneyMap configurations are not modified.
-Players can freely change any JourneyMap setting afterward; personal preferences are saved normally.
Hyperboxes:
- Fixed Edge-Case Crash: Resolved a server-side NullPointerException that occurred when looking at a Hyperbox Aperture with The One Probe or when connecting pipes.
- Improved Compatibility: Fixed how the block handles "unsided" requests (null direction).
- Better HUD Data: When viewing a Hyperbox with The One Probe, the display will now smartly scan all internal sides to show the maximum available Energy, Fluid, or Item counts, rather than randomly showing an empty face.
MiniUtilities:
- Fixed a bug with Molten Head Enchantment where Molten Head would work for a few blocks, then suddenly stop dropping items entirely. In some cases it could even break furnace smelting results until a restart. Drops are now stable and smelting recipes no longer get “corrupted”.
Taiga:
- Reduced meteorite frequency in all dimensions by 80%
- Completely disabled TAIGA meteorites in The Undergarden
Undergarden:
Implemented a two-tiered "Throttling & Enforcement" system to remediate severe TPS loss and high MSPT caused by the Undergarden’s aggressive native spawning weights.
- Cancels ~60% of spawn pulses which drastically reduces continuous CPU time spent on spawning and slows down refill rates
- Reduced Entity count from 450+ peak entities to a stabilized average of ~50-100.
- Eliminates “sudden 50+ mobs of one type” situations.
- Prevents runaway mob stacking even on fresh chunk generation.
- Drastic reduction in EntityTick and PathNavigation lag.
- Removes excess mobs above configured caps.
- Reduces server tick spikes and improves overall stability in the Undergarden.
- Removed Smog Vent generation from new Undergarden chunks.
- Removed several problematic worldgen features such as springs, pebble patches, virulent features, and other unstable clutter.
- Reduced fluid/update storm sources.
- Reduced item-entity buildup sources.
- Dimension becomes intentionally emptier, but stays consistent and playable.
Special Features:
-Waystone Dismantler (T1). The only tool to pickup Waystones and move around. Breaking them with any other tool results in T1 Materia.
-Machine Upgrade Kits. It lets you upgrade custom machines easily without losing any content or disconnecting pipes. This is only for Singleblock Machines.
- Custom Login Protection: Protects you when loging into a server or singleplayer against:
- melee/ranged hits
- poison / wither / bleeding
- suffocation
- AoE auras
- explosion damage
- arrows, fireballs, etc. vanish on “impact”
- no splat or drown during login / reconnect
- mobs dont care about you, no new aggro, old aggro drops
Protection ends when:
- On any player input / interaction / attack / move/turn
- If you’re falling or sinking in water/lava, protections stays until grounded then it waits for any player input to drop protection
- If you’re falling from the sky, protections stays until grounded then it waits for any player input to drop protection
- Or the global timeout is over (180 seconds) then protection ends automatically as a failsafe
- Includes Personal Chat Messages for notification
