Dawn Star Introduction

This mod was developed with the help of Autoforge.

This mod revolves around a set of mythical-tier stars called "Dawn Stars". Gather materials, forge the stars, and you'll gain the ability to fly freely. You can also forge your gear into unbreakable end-game equipment, ultimately advancing toward the ultimate form—the "Absolute Dawn Star"—a graduation-tier item that combines flight, immunity, and resistance all in one.

The mod also includes a standalone, conflict-free "Dawn Accessories Bar", which lets you equip extra stars without relying on elytra or wings, freeing up both your hands and armor slots completely.

Dawn Star Accessories

Flight: The Core Power of the Stars As long as any one of the Ascended / Eternal / Primordial Dawn Stars is in your accessories bar, hotbar, or dedicated accessories slot, the player will gain Creative-mode flight. You don't need to hold it in your hand—just carrying it works. (Magic resistance cannot be stacked~)

Forging Upgrades and Materials

(If you really don't want it anymore, you can destroy it with a cactus. It's definitely not because I forgot to throw it away~)

Dawn Accessories Bar

Press I (or click the small "Accessories" button next to the recipe book in the inventory screen) to open it. It has three slots, each accepting only one type of item: Dawn Star Slot: Only accepts Dawn Stars (Ascended/Eternal/Primordial). Totem Slot: Only accepts Totems of Undying. When you take fatal damage, it automatically consumes the totem and triggers death prevention, exactly like holding a vanilla Totem of Undying. After use, it automatically pulls a new one from your backpack to refill the slot—essentially a permanent auto-totem safeguard. Elytra Slot: Only accepts elytra. Once inserted, press Space in mid-air to glide. It doesn't conflict with the chestplate elytra—you can still wear chest armor! Gliding consumes elytra durability as usual; when it reaches its last point of durability, it automatically replaces itself with a fresh elytra from your backpack. (Items in the accessories bar are stored in the character's own data: they remain in their original slots after death and respawn.)

Most can be found in JEI; some also have corresponding tooltips.

Item Duplication and Unbreakable Function

The smithing table has three slots: Template, Base, and Additional. The following recipes are described in the order of (Template + Base + Additional):

Note: Cannot duplicate items from this mod itself; storage bags, shulker boxes, and other "containers with contents" also cannot be duplicated (there will be a mysterious tooltip inside). (Actually, combining with other mods yields amazing results, but I'm too lazy and it's hard = =) (When duplicating items with a stack limit of 1, it's best not to hold Shift to quick-grab, otherwise items will be swallowed. I'll fix it later~)

Brewing Infinite Potions

Add Eternal Dawn Star Fragments to certain potions to brew corresponding infinite-duration potions. Up to 16 effects can be made infinite: Night Vision, Regeneration, Strength, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Jump Boost, Speed, Invisibility, Slow Falling, Wind Charged, Weaving, Oozing, Infested, Poison, Weakness, Slowness. (Cannot be used as splash potions, otherwise it'd be too overpowered meow~)

Afterward, you can still treat them like regular potions—use gunpowder to make them splash, dragon's breath to make them lingering, or even coat arrows with them—the effects remain infinite in duration.

Modified or Newly Added Drops

Note: This mod allows the Wither's Nether Star drop to benefit from the "Looting" enchantment—in addition to the guaranteed 1 drop, there's a chance to drop an extra 1~2 stars (maximum 3 total at once).

Keybinds
