Receive a Falna from a god, grow your Status with every fight and delve into a living, fifty-floor Dungeon beneath the white tower of Babel. DanMachi Craft brings the city of Orario, its gods, its adventurers and its Dungeon into Minecraft.

Join a god's Familia

Twelve gods keep stalls on the plaza at the foot of Babel: Hestia, Loki, Freya, Hephaestus, Ganesha, Hermes, Apollo, Ishtar, Soma, Takemikazuchi, Miach and Dian Cecht. Pick one and receive your Falna. Each god has its own perks.

• Your Status: five abilities (Strength, Endurance, Dexterity, Agility, Magic) ranked I to S. They grow from how you fight, through hidden Excelia that your god turns into points when you update your Status.
• Level up from 1 to 10. You need a Great Feat, such as beating a stronger monster or a Monster Rex. Each level brings a new Development Ability (Blacksmith, Mixing, Hunter, Mage, Swordsman, Luck and six more).
• Twelve spells to learn from grimoires and Status updates: Firebolt, Wynn Fimbulvetr, Futsunomitama, Uchide no Kozuchi, Dia Fiat and more. Some you cast at once, others take a chant.
• Eight skills awaken from what you do, among them Argonaut, Liaris Freese and Crozzo's Blood.
• The Denatus: after a level up, the gods meet at the next dawn and offer you three epithets to choose from.
• Hestia's Knife: join Hestia and, once your Status starts to grow, she gives you her divine knife. It grows stronger with you.

The Dungeon is alive

The Dungeon is its own dimension: fifty floors stacked one beneath the other, each band with its own look: the pale Upper Floors, the Misty Floors, the Under Resort, the Colossal Tree Labyrinth, the Water Capital, the White Palace and the Moytura Wasteland below.

• 41 monsters, each with its own animations, abilities and drops, from Goblins and Killer Ants to Hellhounds, Minotaurs and Valgang Dragons. Rare harmless ones too: the Blue Papilio and the Jack Bird.
• Monsters are born from the walls. Mine too greedily and the Dungeon answers. Watch for Monster Parties, irregulars and monsters that grow stronger by eating magic stones.
• Monster Rex bosses guard floors 17, 27, 37 and 49: the Goliath, the Amphisbaena, the Udaeus and the Balor. They have weak points and summon help.
• Things to find: pantries, rich ore veins (nosteel, mithril, adamantite, orichalcum), healing herbs, fallen adventurers' remains, traps, hidden caches and quiet rooms.
• Floor 24: Viscum Plants that give birth to Violas, gem-laden trees guarded by strengthened monsters, and glowing Akarigoke moss on floors 19 to 24.
• Safe points on floors 18, 28, 39 and 50. Pitch your Familia's camp there, and wake up beside it after a death.
• The Dungeon map charts each floor as you walk it and points to the stairs.
• A monster notebook fills in as you hunt: abilities, drops and Eina's advice for every monster. Eina's daily lesson quizzes you on it, with a potion for a perfect score.
• Valis come from the Dungeon: exchange magic stones and drops at the Guild, hand in fallen adventurers' plates and sell your map surveys. Quests and odd jobs in the city pay too.
• If things go badly, call the Hermes Familia with a rescue beacon. Or pay them to escort you down to a checkpoint floor.
• Die down there and your dropped items wait about 20 minutes, safe from fire, lava and blasts. Your map marks where you fell.

Rivira and the Xenos

• Rivira, the rogue town on floor 18: Bors's shop, Villy's inn and a merchant charging Dungeon prices.
• The Xenos, talking monsters, hide a village on floor 20. Earn their trust, meet Fels, and tame Wiene.

Orario

A walled city about 400 blocks across rises around Babel, with eight main streets, Daedalus Street's maze, the Amphitheatrum and the Familias' homes: Twilight Manor, Folkvangr, Hearthstone Manor, Hestia's old church and more.

More than twenty residents live and work there. Visit the Hostess of Fertility (Mia, Syr, Anya, Chloe and Lunoire), the Loki Familia, Naaza's Blue Pharmacy, Amid at Dian Cecht, Tsubaki of the Hephaestus Familia, Shakti, Ouka and Chigusa, Asfi and others. Eina at the Guild hands out requests, lessons and advice.

City life runs on a 28-day calendar:

• Festivals: the Monster Feria (with a taming trial and escaped monsters), the Orariopiad (a race round the city wall and an arena duel), the Goddess Festival and Holy Night.
• Other events: dawn Denatus meetings, a daily training ability, sparring at the dojo, shifts at the Hostess, the Jaga Maru-kun stall and Rakia's army marching on the north gate.

Fight beside the main cast

Recruit Bell, Lili, Welf, Mikoto, Haruhime and Ryu at the Guild, with up to three at your side. Each has their own fighting style and abilities. Ais Wallenstein may turn up when you need her most.

Quests

203 quests:

• A main story in a prologue and 21 chapters, with scripted battles and scenes.
• Side stories from Sword Oratoria and Familia Chronicle, an Astrea Record vigil and three hot-spring stories.
• Guild board requests, and requests from the gods and from the city's residents.
• Beware the Evilus: their cursed blades leave wounds that no potion heals. Amid can treat them, or you can brew a Curse Remedy.

Forge and brew

• Forge weapons and armour: 11 weapon types (knife, sword, katana, greatsword, axe, spear, halberd, twin blades, staff, bowgun, throwing knives) and 5 armour styles.
• Materials: five metals, or monster drops used as the core. Results range from Crude to Masterwork quality.
• Infusions from 39 monster drops. Reforge a weapon up to three times.
• Also: Crozzo magic swords, unbreakable Durandal weapons and named signature weapons as quest rewards.
• Hephaestus's bargain bin: five cheap weapons by her apprentices every day, now and then one of Welf's.
• Brew potions with a quality of their own: Potion, High Potion, Mind Potion, Elixir and more. Brew them at your own table, or order most of them from Naaza (the Elixir needs the Mixing ability).

Your Familia

• Familia Points raise your Familia's rank from I to S. The Guild collects a monthly tax.
• Place your god's crest to claim a home with a shared chest, a bath, a forge, an apothecary table and an altar for Status updates.
• Take expeditions from the Guild. From rank D, it orders missions you cannot refuse.
• War Games: challenge another Familia to a duel, a team battle or a siege of Shreme Castle. Your opponent can be another player's Familia or a rival from the series: Soma, Apollo, Ishtar or Freya.

Play together

Form parties of up to four players from any Familias. Quest kills are shared, there is no friendly fire, and party members show on your HUD and Dungeon map. The mod works on dedicated servers.

Getting started

1. Create a new world. Babel and Orario generate near the world's centre, so they need fresh chunks.
2. Find the white tower and talk to a god on the plaza to receive your Falna. You get the Guild's starter kit: a Dungeon map, three potions and 1,000 valis.
3. Talk to Eina at the Guild in Babel, then step through Babel's gate into the Dungeon.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge 21.1.259 or newer
• Install it on both the client and the server.
• Give Minecraft at least 4 GB of memory: the Dungeon's stacked floors take more than the overworld.
• English only for now.
• Optional: Duelcraft 0.5.0 or newer adds Souls-like combat: parries, posture, ripostes, a moveset for every DanMachi weapon and the Hestia Knife's Argonaut moves. DanMachi Craft works without it.
