Dangerous Gunpowder for fabric

Have you tried to put gunpowder in a furnace expecting it to explode and got disappointed by it not exploding?

I know I did!

A small amount of gunpowder probably won't make that big an explosion, just burn your remaining fuel. But if you happen to put a whole stack there...
