The mod adds 3 items as alternatives to the dagger of sacrifice from blood magic that don't insta kill the mobs.

Dagger of Bloodletting - Produces LP when near a blood alter based off the damge done to the mobs.
Sentient Dagger of Bloodletting - It mostly functions the same as the normal dagger of bloodletting but produces less lp (by default) and like other sentient items can use will to become stronger.
Dagger of the Orb - LP generated by the blade will go directly into the player's lp pool. There is no need to be anywhere near an alter but it generates 50% of the normal lp (by default). The dagger must be bound to an orb tier by crafting the dagger with an orb with the item. This can be redone later if you unlock a better orb to upgrade to the new tier. The tier of orb determines the max amount of lp that the dagger can add(the values for each tier can be changed in the config). The Dagger must be right clicked to bind it to your lp network.

All 3 items can be enchanted like a normal iron sword to increase damage done and in turn lp generated
