# CYS Attributes

CYS Attributes is a lightweight, Gateways-focused compatibility layer for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.

It provides the minimal AttributesLib-compatible APIs required by Gateways To Eternity, allowing Gateways to run without the full Apothic Attributes mod.

## Important

CYS Attributes is not a complete replacement for Apothic Attributes.

It does not implement the full AttributesLib combat system, including critical hits, dodge chance, life steal, armor pierce, fire damage, cold damage, or other special attribute effects.

CYS Attributes is intended to replace AttributesLib as a lightweight dependency for Gateways-focused modpacks. It should not be installed together with Apothic Attributes or another mod using the `attributeslib` mod ID.
