Cyberpsycho Voice

When a player is hit by Cyberpsychosis (from Project Edgerunner), their voice in Simple Voice Chat starts to fall apart.

What other players hear:

- a robotic, ring-modulated tone

- bitcrushed, low-quality "broken chrome" audio

- stutters that repeat words like a corrupted buffer

- dropouts and bursts of digital static

The higher the cyberpsychosis phase, the worse it gets. When the effect wears off, the voice is clean again.

Requirements: Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+, Simple Voice Chat (required). Project Edgerunner is optional and provides the cyberpsychosis effect.

Server-side: the audio is processed on the server or host, so clients do not need to install it (it is harmless if they do).

Test it: /effect give @s project_edgerunner:cyberpsychosis 60 0 and talk to a friend in voice chat. Use amplifier 1-3 for a heavier glitch.
