CWSM: Minecraft Story Mode Blocks

Bring more of Minecraft: Story Mode into Cracker's Wither Storm Mod!

This add-on introduces three blocks inspired by the inside of the Wither Storm, complete with their own textures, sounds, hardness, blast resistance, and special crafting recipes.

Features

• Wither Storm Ribs: Bone-like blocks inspired by the Wither Storm's interior.

• Wither Storm Blood: A highly blast-resistant block with obsidian-like hardness and slime sounds.

• Wither Storm Interior Redstone Line: A decorative block based on the redstone-like structures inside the Wither Storm.

• Super Beacon Crafting: All three blocks can be crafted using a fully upgraded Super Beacon from CWSM.

• Each recipe produces 8 blocks.

Supported Minecraft Versions

• 1.21.1 — CWSM 5.0-pre8 (members-only beta)

• 1.20.1 — CWSM 4.2.1

• 1.19.4 — CWSM 3.5.1

Cracker's Wither Storm Mod is required. Install the version matching your Minecraft version and mod loader.

Important Modrinth Notice

This add-on is currently being published only on CurseForge and Planet Minecraft.

The Minecraft 1.21.1 version of CWSM is currently a beta available only to paying members. Because of Modrinth's restrictions concerning this dependency, I will not publish this add-on on Modrinth until CWSM 1.21.1 receives a public release.

Important Announcement: Older Version Support Ending

Starting now, I am officially discontinuing development of CWSM add-ons for:

• Minecraft 1.16.5

• Minecraft 1.18.2

• Minecraft 1.19

• Minecraft 1.19.2

• Minecraft 1.19.3

From now on, I will focus exclusively on Minecraft 1.19.4, 1.20.1, and 1.21.1.

I will no longer backport my new CWSM add-ons to the discontinued versions.

However, all my previously released add-ons for those older versions will remain available to download and play. Discontinuing support does not mean removing existing releases.

A Huge Minecraft Story Mode Project Is Coming!

I am planning a massive Minecraft Story Mode mod for when CWSM 1.21.1 becomes publicly available!

My goal is to make Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1, and 1.19.4 feel approximately 90% like Minecraft: Story Mode.

Most of the blocks and new content will be created by me using MCreator.

ChatGPT will also help with some custom Java code and CWSM compatibility features, including special Super Beacon recipes and other functionality that MCreator cannot easily handle on its own.

The mod is still planned, so its features and final release date may change.
