A compilation of small mods that I've deemed too small to make into individual projects, Cutting Edge will have (since there's currently only two!) several modules which can be independently disabled should you not like one or more of them. Different modules may have individual mod dependencies, even though the mod does not.
IMPORTANT:
Even though the only modules may require specific mods to be present, the mod will still load (without any content!) if they are not installed. This is why they are not listed as dependencies. Some modules will not require any other mods.
Current modules:
- Portacart: Adds a belt-slot bauble which lets the player summon a controllable minecart when sneak-right-clicking on rails with an empty hand. Requires Baubles.
- Treetap: Adds a tree tapping kit and evaporator machine. Attach the tap to IC2 or MFR rubber trees to gather sap, pipe or bucket it into the evaporator to produce resin or rubber. An alternative to chopping down trees for automated rubber gathering. Requires IC2 or MFR.
Hi, TTFTCUTS, can you give me PERMISSION to REPOST your new mod(Cutting Edge) to MCBBS (a popular China forum)? I finished most of the translation of the lang file. I will submit the zh CN.lang file to your Github as soon as I can. The entire repost will obey the rules list below and your own special requests. I will NOT take any credits of the mod and I will clearly state your official website curseforge and Github) at the head of my repost page.

I... don't... what the heck? D:
The portacart module should only load if baubles is present... is someone shipping *part* of the baubles API, but not all of it?
It works with baubles. I didn't know it's really needful.
So I installed this mod into my "Infinity Evolve" mod pack (Map was in normal mode not Expert one). I'm getting sap but I can't pipe it out with Buildcraft pipes, Thermal Expansion fluiducts and Extra Util. Fluid Transfer Node. Also how far must be leaves to be considered for proper tree... I had to put Tapping Kit into crown of big MFR rubber Tree. All of that I have screenshots here: http://imgur.com/a/3O8X1
Also When I was testing of making and using Resin and Maple Sap. When I tried Shift click out Maple Sirup (Pam's Harves Craft) it crashed game. Here pastebin: http://pastebin.com/DqXxa2m7
You have to draw out of the bottom of the bag with the pipes. Try putting the bag one further up.
The taps only work on "normal" sized trees, in that it looks at a column of logs up to 8 blocks above the one the tap is attached to and searches outward 2 blocks from there. It's slightly more complicated than that but that's the basics.
The shift-clicking thing is an error on my part, I forgot to rewrite the container shift-click method and it still expects the 3 slots of a furnace instead of two from the evaporator.
Edit: The shift-click bug is now fixed with version 3.
So I changed piping and yep works ... That auto output is nice thing :3
There is just one visual problem that's connecting pipes to sides of Vapor where can't be piped in rubber ( only top accepts) and side of Tree Tapping Kit ... it's not accepting liquid rubber (I asume it's right) but having connect on pipes is not visualy pleasing.
Also the treetap seem to be working on any block of rubber wood on the ic2 rubber tree, could you make it only produces rubber sap on tiles with a extraction point?
It's meant to attach to any log of the tree - the rate is based upon the leaves of the tree, not the tap points. Multiple taps cause the rate to be divided between all attached taps, so only one per tree is best.
Do you have the bauble equipped? Is your hand empty?
Have portacraft in baubles, empty hand and stand next to track you are clicking on and it should work (works for me on Railcraft and Vanilla tracks).
I've tried to shift right click the track with portacart installed, but nothing happens.
Is this compatible with railcraft?
this treetap is similar to this in IHL from IC2 forums, do both work together or is some1 going to ruin my day? xD
There's not much point using the treetap module if you have IHL - it was specifically made to be a replacement for it in the pack I'm putting together since that's the only bit of IHL I actually wanted.
i'm watching rorax videos, nice to see some1 from forgecraft tinkering with gregtech :)
but yeah, seems to be quite useful, i like your idea here :)
I reallly love the sound of the Portacart.... Why has that never been done before now!?!?!
