Custom Loot Handler
A lightweight and powerful utility mod designed for map makers and server admins. It allows you to dynamically change what mobs drop when killed, all without writing a single line of JSON or restarting the game.
✨ Features
- Dynamic Replacement: Change any item dropped by any entity into another item.
- Custom Quantities: Specify exactly how many of the new item should drop.
- Persistent Rules: Your replacement rules are saved to a config file and persist across game restarts.
- In-Game Command: Use
/loothandlerwith full tab-completion to set up your rules instantly.
🎮 How to Use
- Spawn or find a mob (e.g., a Zombie).
- Use the command:
/loothandler <entity> <from_item> <to_item> <count> - Example:
/loothandler @e[type=zombie,limit=1] rotten_flesh diamond 3 - Kill the zombie. Instead of rotten flesh, it will drop 3 diamonds!
⚠️ Important Note
Due to current command parser limitations in some versions, please DO NOT use the minecraft: namespace prefix in the parameters. Use the simple IDs instead.
- ✅ Correct:
/loothandler @e[type=zombie,limit=1] rotten_flesh diamond 3 - ❌ Incorrect:
/loothandler @e[type=zombie,limit=1] minecraft:rotten_flesh minecraft:diamond 3
