Dynamic Time – Custom Day & Night Lengths

This mod allows you to fully control the length of day and night in Minecraft. Whether you want extra‑long days for building or extended nights for a tougher survival experience, you can easily tweak the cycle to your liking.

This mod requires, Oblivious Core, mod that you can use as API if you wanna compute time length

Features

Adjust day length, night length, or the full day/night cycle in ticks
Minimum and maximum values are clamped to safe limits
Works on both singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers
Changes apply instantly and persist for that world

Commands

All commands require OP level 2 or higher.

/timecycle setcycle <ticks> Sets the total day+night cycle length (ticks). Day and night will be split evenly.
/timecycle setday <ticks> Sets only the day length (ticks). Night length is adjusted automatically.
/timecycle setnight <ticks> Sets only the night length (ticks). Day length is adjusted automatically.
/timecycle get Shows the current configuration for day length, night length, and total cycle.

Tick Reference

1 second = 20 ticks
Vanilla day = 24000 ticks (12000 day / 12000 night)
Minimum cycle length: 2000 ticks
Maximum cycle length: 96000 ticks
