Minecraft doesn't have Chain Tools but it has Chain Armor! It also has Wooden Tools but no Wooden Armor! What about Emeralds? Why can't they have Armor too? This Mod Adds all of that Stuff that is kind of cursed... but some of it isn't like Emerald Equipment! Also, how come you mine diamonds to make diamond armor but don't mine Wood, Leather, Chain, or Stone Ores? While Mining, you can find these new ores to make new and existing Equipment! Now you can do that... (but you need to get a pickaxe first...). Chain tools may be slow, but they can mine diamonds! What About SMITHING? You upgrade Diamond to Netherite but nothing else? You can do that too!
You can craft Chain Armor With Chain Plates, which you can make 4 of with 4 Iron nuggets in a square, or make 8 with 2 chains.
Chain tools are made with Stone Sticks which are made with 2 cobblestone, and Chains and Chain Plates.
Or just trade with a Tool smith or Weaponsmith.
Wood armor is made with planks.
Emerald, Lapis, and Redstone Equipment is made like Diamond or Iron equipment.
Upgrades:
Craft a Blank Upgrade to start your smithing journey. (And a smithing table of course!)
You can use the blank upgrade to make new and existing upgrades.
You can use the Stone Upgrade to make your Wooden Equipment into Stone Equipment.
Trading:
If you place a Block of Emerald (subject to change) for a Villager, they will become an exchanger, who will exchange better materials at higher levels.
