Cult of the Gnome adds gnomes that act as little mining buddies!
The Gnome Statue can be activated with Gnome hats to summon gnomes that mine nearby ores for you and yield double the normal drops! Gnomes will deposit their mined resources in a nearby Offering Altar.
Craft a gnome statue, a gnome hat, and an offering altar to get started. Gnome statues can summon up to five gnomes each, and destroying the statue will kill all gnomes summoned from it. If a gnome dies, the statue it was summoned from will decrease its gnome count, so you may spawn another gnome from that statue to replace the one that died.
Gnomes will eventually return to their statue if they stray more than ten blocks away.
Gnomes will approach any ore within ten blocks horizontally and six blocks vertically, and can reach four blocks away when mining them.
