# CUBE RING Core
**CUBE RING Core** is the official core mod created for the **CUBE RING** Minecraft modpack.
This mod adds custom content used by the pack's story, progression and quest structure. It is not a large standalone content mod by itself; instead, it works as the central foundation for CUBE RING's RPG progression, tutorial flow, custom items and narrative systems.
The main goal of this mod is to provide the original systems that cannot be handled properly by datapacks or scripts alone.
## Features
### Story NPC System
CUBE RING Core adds **Kael**, the first story NPC encountered by the player.
Kael appears at the beginning of a new world and introduces the player to the world of CUBE RING through a custom dialogue screen. His dialogue explains the ruined state of the world, the Apóstolos, the Servos, the Altares, the Fragmentos and the Anel do Cubo.
After the dialogue is completed, Kael disappears from the world, allowing the player to begin the main progression.
### Custom Dialogue Screen
The mod includes a custom client-side dialogue interface used for story events and tutorial presentation.
The dialogue system is designed to support:
- narrative progression;
- introductory worldbuilding;
- quest integration;
- future NPC interactions.
### Quest Integration
CUBE RING Core is designed to work together with **FTB Quests** in the CUBE RING modpack.
The introductory NPC dialogue can be used as part of the first quest objective, allowing the modpack to guide players naturally from the story introduction into the quest book.
FTB Quests is not the main content of this mod, but the mod was created with quest progression integration in mind.
### Custom Progression Items
The mod adds several custom items used in the CUBE RING progression system, including items related to:
- Apóstolo souls;
- regional fragments;
- servant seals;
- dormant and regional altars;
- primordial cores;
- the final Cube Ring progression.
These items are used by the modpack to connect boss progression, regions, quests and custom crafting.
### Commands
The mod includes utility commands for pack development and testing.
