tombtweaks-1.0.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
First release. Everything here used to be the Tombstone module inside my content mod SRP&Wizardry InsaneTweaks. It is now a standalone mod that needs nothing else of mine.
⚠️ If you are updating Insane Tweaks from 1.8.0 or earlier, read this
Install this mod at the same time as Insane Tweaks 1.9.0+, not afterwards. The two custom perks are still registered under their original insanetweaks: names on purpose, because Corail Tombstone stores a player's perk levels by registry name — renaming them would silently wipe everyone's progress. With this mod installed, nothing is lost. Without it, nothing registers those names any more, Forge shows the missing-registry-entry screen, and clicking through discards the invested levels for good.
Your settings do not migrate automatically. A fresh tombtweaks.cfg ships with the master switches off and does not read your old file. The root category is still called tombstone and every option name is unchanged, so it is one block to copy across from insanetweaks.cfg — but you have to do it, or the module sits idle.
Carried over untouched: grave-layout snapshots, both ritual-book cooldowns, and the Cursed Ring and grave-decay backup histories. The command moved: /itweaks restore … is now /tombtweaks restore …, and old backups still resolve under it.
What is in the box
- Random-effect whitelist — Tombstone rolls potion effects out of everything registered in the game, across six items and enchantments. Its own config only offers blacklists, and those also stop an effect being preserved on death. This is a real whitelist that only touches the rolling paths, with per-entry weights and amplifier caps. Off by default.
- Exact-slot grave restore — your inventory comes back the way it was laid out, including armour, offhand and Baubles, instead of packed in from the first free slot. Conservative by design: an item is only placed into a slot that is still empty, so nothing can be lost or duplicated. On by default.
- Per-perk caps — an Enabled switch and a Max Level for each of the ten native perks. Defaults match Tombstone exactly, so out of the box nothing changes.
- Two custom perks — Assimilated Knowledge (a chance at knowledge for killing a high-tier Scape and Run: Parasites mob; five levels, 7% each) and Relief for the Damned (waives 12% per level of every Enigmatic Legacy Cursed Ring penalty; three levels).
- Raid-mod alignment bridge — Tombstone only recognises raiders from its own village siege. This pays alignment and completes the raider advancement for the raid mod you actually run, through Tombstone's own API and at exactly the native rate. On by default.
- Ritual-book cooldowns — six minutes each for the Book of Disenchantment and the Book of Magic Impregnation. Shows on the item, survives a relog.
- Grave item decay with an operator restore command, ten backups deep. Off by default.
- Curse of Possession fix — So Many Enchantments' curse is meant to make an item vanish on death; with Tombstone installed it gets trapped in the grave instead. Off by default, with the same backup-and-restore safety net.
- Knowledge of Death inventory tab on Reskillable's strip, Enchanted Grave Key recipe removal, and a grave-dust drop-rate nerf.
New since it left Insane Tweaks
- The effect whitelist and the raid-mod alignment bridge are both new.
- The exact-slot grave restore is new.
- Everything else moved across as-is, with the same config names.
