CS:2 Lootbox 1.1.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
CS2 Lootbox v1.1.0
Music kits
- Added 100 music kits with 1,548 tracks, supplied through optional music resource packs here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/cs2-lootbox-music-kit
- Added a CS2-style listening GUI with customizable cover artwork, a scrollable track list, playback progress and Previous/Next, Play/Stop and Pause/Resume controls.
- Music kits open their listening screen directly.
- Save your selected track to the kit and play it in a vanilla jukebox. Jukebox playback starts from the beginning, and ejecting the disc or breaking the jukebox returns your kit with its saved selection.
- Music volume follows Minecraft's Jukebox/Note Blocks slider. Supplied tracks use mono audio for distance attenuation.
- Assigned compatible music kits to shared 3D sleeve-and-record models, avoiding duplicated geometry while keeping each kit's own texture.
Performance and stability
- Fixed native memory leaks affecting held-item mesh generation, GUI model caching and case previews.
- Rendering buffers are now reused across cache refreshes and preview windows, preventing repeated native allocations.
- Reduced the uncompressed base texture memory of the optimized music-kit, key and container textures by approximately 75%, from 488 MiB to 123 MiB.
Textures and music-kit models
- Optimized 101 music-kit atlases, 40 key icons and 3 container atlases texture and meshes, including the CS:GO Weapon Case and patch envelope.
- Container atlases now use 512×512 textures. Key icons use a maximum size of 128 pixels, preserving their aspect ratio.
- Used high-quality filtering to preserve transparency and atlas alignment. Listening-screen artwork retains its existing resolution.
- Preserved compatibility with older KubeJS music-kit model paths after renaming the shared models.
Resource packs and diagnostics
- Music audio and listening-screen artwork are supplied through optional resource packs. Shared model geometry remains in the mod.
- Choose individual kit packs or the Full Collection ZIP to install the music collection together through the CurseForge app.
- Kits with missing required resources are hidden from creative tabs and cannot open their listening screen. Re-enabling their resources restores availability without changing item IDs.
- Resource-pack reloads refresh kit availability.
- Updated the individual music packs and Full Collection pack with the optimized model textures.
- Expanded the Creative-mode
/cs2lootbox renderstatscommand with reusable rendering-buffer statistics to help investigate memory usage.
For pack creators
- Added KubeJS music-kit registration and editing with customizable artwork, tracks, textures and model transforms.
- Music-kit saving and jukebox insertion are validated by the server.
- Updated the README and KubeJS examples for music kits and shared models.
Music setup: Enable your music ZIP through Options > Resource Packs. Music packs require CS2 Lootbox v1.1.0+. Dedicated servers do not need the music packs; clients and servers need matching mod versions and KubeJS definitions.
Texture resizing may slightly soften fine details in close-up views. The texture-memory reduction does not represent a measured FPS improvement or a reduction of the same size in total game memory.
