Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Crystalbound 0.47.0 (Minecraft 26.3)
WORLDROOT FIX
- Prevented natural and other ambient mob spawns inside the Forest Heart's shell, including while the shell is growing or its owner is offline.
- Heart defenders and crystal companions can still spawn normally. The surrounding root territory keeps its ordinary spawning rules.
EXTREME TRIAL PROGRESSION
- Added the Extreme Unbound Crystal as the shared admission item for Extreme trials, replacing their separate item offerings and the Containment Key.
- Right-click a trial's central podium with one Extreme Unbound Crystal to begin. The crystal sits visibly in a matching recessed socket during the attempt.
- Victory transforms the admission crystal into the trial's reward. Failure or an interrupted attempt destroys it. Rejected entry checks do not consume it.
- Evolution trials also require an Extreme Unbound Crystal and ownership of the preceding crystal. Existing personal requirements still apply. Constellation's private star-recovery trials remain free.
- Existing trial sites update at their saved locations. Unused legacy offering deposits can be returned once; already accepted attempts do not require another payment, and valid unclaimed rewards remain available.
TRIAL DISCOVERY
- Replaced the Codex's Locate button with exploration-based trial charts.
- Reading a reusable, shareable chart records a 1,000-by-1,000-block search area in your own Codex. Visiting the matching trial and earning its entry advancement upgrades that entry to exact coordinates. Existing entry advancements count.
- Each eligible chest has a 5% chance to contain its associated chart:
Time - Ancient Cities
Worldroot - Woodland Mansions
Cataclysm - Nether Fortresses
Usurper - Bastion treasure chests
Gravity - End City treasure chests
Tempo - Stronghold libraries
Mitosis - Pillager Outposts
Constellation - Desert Pyramids
- Shadow needs no chart: its Rift already leads to the Hollow Court while the trial is available.
- Chart loot applies when eligible chest loot is generated; it does not refill previously opened chests.
GAMBIT REWORK
- Gambit now starts with a 50% chance to upgrade or downgrade the targeted ore by one tier. Each additional step has a 50% chance to continue in the same direction, otherwise the roll stops.
- Tier order: Coal, Copper, Iron, Redstone, Gold, Lapis, Emerald, Diamond, Ancient Debris.
- Removed the old weighted reward pool and two-tier upgrade ceiling, making higher-tier starting ores more likely to produce higher-tier results.
- Rolls stop at the ends of the tier list. An outward roll at an endpoint keeps that tier and still marks the block as gambled.
- Shadow Ore cannot be gambled or obtained through Gambit. Existing crystal-veined Shadow Ore remains valid and mineable.
- Gambled ores remain permanently spent, including after Silk Touch and replacement. Deepslate variants retain their matching host rock where applicable.
SHADOW MATERIALS
- Renamed Shadow Shards to Shadow Fragments and updated their 16x16 artwork to a rougher fragment shape.
- Existing stacks, saved item IDs and refining recipes remain compatible.
