Crying Obsidian

Crying Obsidian was intended to be a block that can change your spawn point, but it was never added to the game. This mod implements this block and adds an item version of it.

  • Added a decoration variant of the Crying Obsidian Block. It is just for decoration and does nothing, but it is cheaper to craft.
  • Added an advanced variant of the Crying Obsidian Block. It can only be used by its owner (this can be disabled in the config) and an entity can be bound to it. An entity that is bound to an advanced Crying Obsidian Block will respawn at the block's position when it dies.
  • You can now set your spawn point while under water. The spawn point will be set above the water.
  • Added a config option to set your spawn point at the block's position instead of the player's position when right-clicking on a Crying Obsidian Block.
  • The recipe for crafting a Crying Obsidian Block/Item is now shapeless.
