Crude Colossus brings a giant boss fight to Minecraft. Deep in an abandoned oil field, an old oil machine has come alive. Track down its arena, survive three phases of crude oil and fire, and claim the Crude Colossus Backpack, an oil-powered pack that launches you into the air and sprays flames.

- Three-Phase Boss: The Colossus changes its form and attacks as the fight goes on.
- Oil Field Arenas: Each fight takes place in an arena with crude pools, pumpjacks and water tanks.
- Oil & Fire Combat: Oil slows you down, fire burns oiled players harder, and water washes it off.
- Custom Music & Sounds: Every phase has its own soundtrack.
- Crude Colossus Backpack: A boss reward that sits on its own back slot, so your chestplate still fits.
- Gusher Leap: Launch yourself high into the air.
- Flare Spray: Pour crude oil and set it on fire.
- Crude Oil Press: Make your own crude oil to fuel the backpack.
- Arena Map: Cartographers sell a map that leads to the nearest arena.
- JEI Support (Fabric and NeoForge): Loot, trades and item info pages.

- Find a Crude Arena by exploring, or buy an Arena Map from a level 3 (Journeyman) Cartographer for 14 Emeralds and a Compass.
- Step into the arena to wake the Crude Colossus.
- Defeat it to get the Crude Colossus Fist and Grip, then craft them into the backpack.
- Fuel the backpack with a Crude Oil Bucket and a Flint and Steel.
Controls
- Right-click: Open the backpack.
- Sneak + Right-click: Wear it (empty hand to take it off).
- Hold R: Gusher Leap.
- Hold V: Flare Spray.
Keys can be changed in Options > Controls > Key Binds.

Note: The Crude Colossus Fist and Grip needed for the backpack drop from the Crude Colossus boss fight.
