Description

Sometimes you just want to launch a quiet Minecraft world with some cool mods. But before you can enjoy the content, you have to go back to the mines. Find coal for torches. Use torches to get iron. Iron to make pickaxes. Get more iron to make your equipment, because monsters won't leave you in peace. Collect even more iron to repair your brand-new armor. Once you've run out of food or torches, you'll need to head back to the surface. Restock, then head back down to mine more iron...

Don't mine: crop and craft !

CropsCraft gives you an alternative way of obtaining certain materials by growing plants. The idea is based on ‘agromine’ (in French), which uses plants to capture metals in the soil.

To do this, you need to collect metal-accumulating plants, which will extract excess minerals from the soil. Then use an acid (lemon) to extract the metals. But be careful: each chunk has its own metal content, and once the soil has been purified, you’ll need to move your plants elsewhere.

This way you can have iron and more basic ressources.

The idea is to give an alternative way and not to replace the usual way. Balancing is therefore intended to be less efficient than mining. (In test)

This is my first mod, so I look forward to hearing what you think.

As I’m not really familiar with how the modding community works, I’d be happy to receive feedback on my mods and their compatibility.
