Croparium: Thermal is an addon for Croparium that adds farming compatibility for a wide range of materials from the Thermal Series. Grow ores, alloy blends, gems, and biomass-type resources as actual crops.

Growable Crops

28 new growable crops covering Thermal Series minerals, gems, alloy blends, raw ores, elemental shards, and biomass materials.

• Apatite, Basalz Shard, Bitumen, Blitz Mote, Blizz Cube, Bronze Blend, Cinnabar, Coke, Constantan Blend, Cured Rubber, Electrum Blend, Enderium Blend, Invar Blend, Lumium Blend, Niter, Raw Lead, Raw Silver, Raw Tin, Rose Gold Blend, Ruby, Rosin, Rubber, Sapphire, Signalum Blend, Slag, Rich Slag, Steel Blend, Sulfur.

Growing Mechanics

Croparium crops must be planted on the correct farmland block to grow and survive. The farmland type, crop type, embryo shard type required for seed crafting, and the shard type consumed during growth acceleration are all the same.

Two crop categories are included:

• Overworld Ore Crops: Planted on Overworld Farmland. Their seeds and growth acceleration use Overworld Embryo Shards.

• Biomass Crops: Planted on Biomass Farmland. Their seeds and growth acceleration use Biomass Embryo Shards.

Obtaining Farmland

Overworld Farmland

• Right-click common Overworld stone (e.g. Cobblestone, Granite, Tuff) with any pickaxe to till it into Overworld Farmland.

• Blocks tagged with #cp_lib:farmland_dimension_overworld are also treated as Overworld Farmland.

• Requires water within a horizontal radius of 4 blocks to stay hydrated.

Biomass Farmland

• Right-click Soul Sand, Soul Soil, or Crawlingslate with any shovel to till it into Biomass Farmland.

• Blocks tagged with #cp_lib:farmland_dimension_biomass are also treated as Biomass Farmland.

• Requires lava within a horizontal radius of 4 blocks to stay hydrated.

Extracting Embryo Shards

Use the Alpha Stonecutter to obtain the embryo shards needed for seeds and growth acceleration.

• Without sneaking: Right-click the Alpha Stonecutter to open its GUI. Place the material in the slot and click the gear icon to extract shards in batches.

• While sneaking: Right-click the Alpha Stonecutter while holding a material to directly attempt extraction, consuming the held item.

Each extraction has a default 30% success rate. On success, it drops 1 embryo shard of the corresponding type. You can change the success rate in config/Croparium.toml under [misc_settings] by editing shardextractsuccessrate.

Overworld Embryo Shard Materials

• Common stones from the Overworld dimension (such as Stone, Cobblestone, Deepslate, and the three stone variants) and their slab, stair, and wall variants.

• Terracotta, glazed terracotta, concrete, and raw ore blocks.

• Any item tagged with #cp_lib:embryo_material_overworld.

Biomass Embryo Shard Materials

• Rotten flesh blocks, fermented biomass blocks, mob heads, and certain other biomass-type blocks.

• Any item tagged with #cp_lib:embryo_material_biomass.

• Killing mobs has a chance to drop one or more Biomass Embryo Shards. The Looting enchantment on either hand increases both drop chance and expected quantity.

Harvesting

• Breaking a mature plant yields seeds and the corresponding resource.

• Right-clicking a mature plant directly harvests the resource and resets the plant to growth stage 2.

• Looting or Fortune on either hand increases expected yield.

• Fire Aspect causes harvested drops to be smelted.
