About Version 1.20.x
The Minecraft 1.20.x is confusing for us, not only due to the issues between Forge and NeoForge but also because of the breaking changes between each minor version. Due to our limited resources, we have decided to stick with Minecraft 1.20.1, with the Forge version set to 47.1.0. After testing, we found this version to be compatible with both Forge and NeoForge. We are still considering whether to switch to NeoForge in the future, so please give us some time.
A special thanks to @3TUSK for assisting us in migrating our mod from Minecraft 1.18 to Minecraft 1.19, which made the transition to Minecraft 1.20 much easier.
New Features
Placeable Dishes
Now, almost all dishes can be placed on the ground. Placeable dishes will have tooltips for guidance, and they can be placed while sneaking. Some foods can even be stacked. Special thanks to @MalayP for creating the models.

Placing Powcake on the ground can also attract animals, but be aware that they will eat it.
Volt Goat
The Volt Goat from “Don't Starve” is now officially added to the mod. Volt Goats naturally spawn in Badland biomes and are relatively friendly neutral mobs. Typically, they will flee from players but will retaliate if attacked. Players can breed Volt Goats by feeding them wheat.

When struck by lightning, Volt Goats become Charged Volt Goats. These will aggressively attack players, with attacks that have a “Charged” effect. Charged Volt Goats revert to normal after two days.

Killing a Volt Goat has a chance to drop a Volt Goat Horn, which is used to craft the unique dish Volt Goat Chaud-Froid. This dish requires at least 1 Volt Goat Horn, at least 2.0 Sweetener, and no Meats. Consuming Volt Goat Chaud-Froid grants a 6-minute “Charged” effect.

The “Charged” effect increases attack damage by 35% and deals an additional 30% damage to wet targets.

Content Adjustments
Crock Pot
We acknowledge that the Ultimate Crock Pot was a design flaw in our early stages. Initially, we intended to add more uses for the Heart of the Sea and classify dishes based on "Don't Starve," "Hamlet," and "Shipwrecked." However, as more dishes were added, we realized the Ultimate Crock Pot was unnecessary. Therefore, we have removed the Ultimate Crock Pot in this version and renamed the Advanced Crock Pot to the Portable Crock Pot. This change brings our mod back in line with "Don't Starve."

The Portable Crock Pot is upgraded at a forge using a Portable Crock Pot Upgrade Smithing Template, which can be found in Nether Fortress loot chests.

The Portable Crock Pot can cook more dishes and can be broken and moved intact, unlike the regular Crock Pot which drops only part of its crafting materials. Additionally, we have adjusted the Crock Pot and cooking times required for some of the recipes.
Crock Pots now have corresponding sound effects for opening, closing, and working.
Special Piglin Bartering
We have always felt that obtaining Netherite Scraps through Piglin Bartering was too overpowered. The new version allows us to adjust this. We have removed Netherite Scraps from the bartering list and replaced them with Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template. We believe this will improve game balance.
Food Values
We have assigned Food Values to new items added in this Minecraft version and adjusted the Food Values for some existing items.
- Sniffer Egg: 4.0 Eggs
- Milk Bucket: 1.0 Dairy
- Kelp: 0.5 Veggie, 0.25 Inedible
- Dried Kelp: Changed from 0.5 Veggie to 0.5 Veggie, 0.25 Inedible
We have also ensured compatibility with foods from more mods:
Alex's Caves, Alex's Mobs, Caupona, Collector's Reap, Drop the Meat, End's Delight, End's Phantasm, Farmer's Delight, Fruits Delight, Miner's Delight, My Nether's Delight, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Quark, Spelunkery, Thermal Cultivation, Twilight Delight, Twilight Forest, Undergarden, Vanilla Cookbook, Vintage Delight
Birdcage Recipes
We noticed that feeding Parrots in Birdcages produced too many seeds, so we have slightly reduced this amount. We do not think this will have a significant impact. We have also added recipes for crops introduced in this Minecraft version.
Additionally, we have ensured compatibility with crops from more mods.
Improvements
