Deep in an Ancient City, a sealed heart waits in a chest. Bind it to yourself to sense nearby monsters, knock them back with a pulse, and eventually survive a lethal blow or enter Overdrive. Every power spends energy and adds strain. Push the heart too far and it goes quiet for twelve seconds.
Find and bind the heart
- Search Ancient City chests for a Sealed Crimson Heart. By default, each chest has a 1.5% chance when its loot is generated. Previously looted chests stay as they are. There is no crafting recipe.
- Hold the heart and right-click, then confirm the binding. This consumes the item and starts you with 60 energy.
- Press H to open the Heart Chamber. It shows your animated heart, energy, strain, progression and ability cooldowns.

Earn Resonance by exploring on foot, finding enemies with Heart Sense and defeating eligible mobs. Stage II unlocks at 60 total Resonance and Stage III at 240. Energy recovers while you rest and through eligible combat. At 100 strain, the heart overloads and locks all four powers until it recovers. Keybinds can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu.

The binding survives death by default. Server owners can adjust the loot chance, binding on death, scan range, wall detection and Blood Pulse damage in the world's serverconfig/crimsonheart-server.toml.
Visuals, sound and language
Open H → Heart settings to resize or hide the HUD, switch ability effects between Fullscreen, Compact and Off, and adjust heartbeat, ability and ambience volume separately. The fullscreen binding sequence can be disabled or skipped with Escape or a click.
Crimson Heart follows Minecraft's language setting. It includes English, German, French, Spanish (Spain), Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Other languages fall back to English.
