Crimson Court

The Insectoid Vampires and their contagious curse, from the universe of Darkest Dungeon.

Heavily inspired by Darkest Dungeon Series

Noblemen and ladies from a distant land

Carrying a curse now spreading across your world

Driven by inquenchable thirst for blood

The Crimson Court hands out an invitation

Either join them, or purge them

Crimson Court adds:

6 new aggressive mobs, all of them themed around insectified human.

1 tameable mob

1 new set of armor

1 new weapon

1 deadly disease

The Curse / The Disease:

You can either contract the crimson curse through drinking The Blood item, or getting hit by monsters from the Crimson Court (5% each hit).

Think twice before accepting the crimson curse, and beware when fighting these creatures. Once you gain the curse you can only get rid of it through death, or by forcefully ending the curse once and for all.

The One true way to be rid of it is to eliminate the source, an elusive entity known as The Countess.

The Curse is splitted into 4 stages, each gives a set of effect that can drastically buff/hinder your combat capabilities.

Stage I. Bloodlust

First Stage of the curse, provide benefits to strength and speed alike. Drinking a vile of blood immediately brings you to this stage.

You will Stay on this stage for 20 minutes.

Stage II. Passive

Closest to no effect.

You will Stay on this stage for 40 minutes.

Stage III. Craving

Buff to movement speed. At this point you should have at least possess 1 vile of the blood.

You will Stay on this stage for 60 minutes.

Stage IV. Wasting

Your time is up. Slowed and Vulnerable. Feed yourself with the precious blood to ensure survival.

You will Stay on this stage for 80 minutes, when the timer runs out... instant death.
