🛠️ Recipe System Improvements

Status: Completed

The Forge 1.20.1 port received recipe system improvements to remove previous hardcoded behavior and improve compatibility with the current recipe framework.

Changes:

• Updated custom recipes to no longer depend on exact crafting slot positions.

• Improved recipe detection so valid recipes can be crafted anywhere within the crafting grid.

• Updated recipe handling to better match newer supported versions.

• Established a more flexible custom recipe system for future parity updates.

• Dev Armor Recipes

🔧 Version Parity Improvements

Forge 1.20.1 has been updated to better align with the current supported versions.

Parity Improvements:

• Improved consistency between Forge 1.20.1 and newer versions.

• Removed version-specific hardcoded solutions where possible.

• Created a cleaner foundation for future Forge and Fabric parity updates.

  🌊 Eternal Spring Structure Added

  A new ancient structure has been discovered within the world of Creative Ascension.

  Added:

  • Added the Eternal Spring structure

  • Added the Eternal Spring block

  Purpose:

  • Introduce new exploration-based content.

  • Expand the worldbuilding of Creative Ascension. 

  • Provide a foundation for future structure-based progression.

    Spring Features:

    • Can convert concrete powder into concrete blocks

    • Acts as an Infinite water source for buckets and bottles

  🔮 Development Notes

  The Eternal Spring is an early step toward expanding the exploration side of Creative Ascension.

  Future updates will continue expanding structures, discoveries, and progression systems throughout the world.

  Currently the loot and lore book are broken and will be fixed in the next update
