Create: Transit Tickets 1.0.0 introduces a complete survival-friendly ticket workflow for Create train networks, including configurable ticket types, reusable blueprints, functional ticket gates, and in-game Ponder tutorials.
Available builds
Choose the jar matching your installed Create version:
1.0.0-c6— requires Create 6.0.81.0.0-c5— requires Create 0.5.1.f
Both builds target Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge 47.x. Do not use the c5 build with Create 6 or the c6 build with Create 0.5.
Highlights
- Added an in-game Ticket Blueprint configuration screen.
- Added Single Use, Multiple Use, Limited Time, and Unlimited Time tickets.
- Added Local, Semi-Fast, and Express transit services.
- Added reusable Ticket Blueprints with custom ticket names.
- Added a two-stage ticket production sequence using a Deployer and Mechanical Press.
- Added Incomplete Transit Tickets that preserve blueprint settings between processing stages.
- Added fully functional Ticket Gates.
- Added operator-configurable service requirements for Ticket Gates.
- Added Create-style tooltips and Ponder tutorials.
Ticket production
The complete production sequence is:
Blank Ticket + Ticket Blueprint → Deployer → Incomplete Transit Ticket → Mechanical Press → Transit Ticket
Ticket Blueprints are reusable and are not consumed during deployment.
Limited Time ticket validity begins when the Mechanical Press issues the final ticket, not when the Blank Ticket is processed by the Deployer.
Ticket types
- Single Use — permits one successful gate passage.
- Multiple Use — permits a configurable number of passages.
- Limited Time — remains valid for a configurable duration.
- Unlimited Time — never expires.
Supported duration suffixes are:
t— tickss— secondsm— minutesh— hoursd— Minecraft days
Ticket services
Tickets and gates support:
- Local
- Semi-Fast
- Express
Ticket Gates accept any service by default. Operators may configure a gate to require one particular service.
Ticket Gates
- Validates issued Transit Tickets.
- Rejects empty hands, unrelated items, unissued tickets, expired tickets, and used-up tickets.
- Rejects tickets that do not match the configured service.
- Plays separate acceptance and denial sounds.
- Shows an on-screen error when access is denied.
- Consumes one passage from passage-limited tickets after successful validation.
- Opens its center barrier for accepted passengers.
- Closes after the passenger leaves the gate.
- Automatically closes after five seconds if no passage is completed.
- Supports operator-only configuration with Create's Wrench.
- Supports operator-only sneak-wrench dismantling and returns the gate item.
Ponder tutorials
Added three Create-style Ponder tutorials:
- Using Blank Tickets
- Using Ticket Gates
- Configuring Ticket Gates
These tutorials explain ticket production, validation rules, service matching, passage consumption, automatic closing, Wrench configuration, permissions, and dismantling.
Hover over a Blank Ticket or Ticket Gate and hold Create's Ponder key—W by default—to open the relevant tutorial.
Tooltips
Added Create-style Shift tooltips for:
- Blank Tickets
- Ticket Blueprints
- Transit Tickets
- Ticket Gates
Incomplete Transit Tickets display:
- Recipe Sequence
- Progress: 1/2
- Next: Process in Press
Issued Transit Tickets clearly display whether they are Valid, Expired, or Used Up.
Security
- Blueprint and gate configuration packets are validated by the server.
- Ticket Gate configuration and Wrench removal require operator permission level 2.
- Invalid or mismatched tickets are rejected without consuming a passage.
Upgrade notes
Incomplete Transit Tickets created before blueprint-data transfer was added may not contain the required settings. If an older intermediate item produces an invalid ticket, process a new Blank Ticket after updating.
Make sure to install the jar matching your exact Create version.
