Create: Train Functionality

> Build on your Create train while it drives. A Functional Fob makes a carriage's blocks real: place and break them, open chests, run machines. Disassemble and your build stays in the world. Early build — back up first. ---

I promise I will state when an update may break your train, most tests have been done on the same trains I created before a release at all, with blocks from all sorts of mods.

when testing this update, I loaded my test world with the mod totally absent on accident and all my trains and sublevels split and I thought I lost them all haha, for fun I put the mod in and loaded the world. all trains went back to normal, I just needed to add the mods blocks back, everything still worked. I was amazed. As a further test I then loaded that world into a Bisecthosting server to test the same once split trains on a server and everything worked fine. This update is just QoL

  • CHANGED — a dashboard's station button now looks much further down the line: 4096 blocks of track by default. Before, it only looked as far as Create's own train controls do when you press Space: about 32 blocks of track ahead at walking pace, so a station a little further on gave "No station ahead". It now takes the train to the nearest station ahead that the train can still stop for and that no other train is standing at. This works the same for a station button on a DashPanels panel, on a cable, or on an Aeroworks console. Moving the throttle, steering or the brake still takes the controls back and cancels the trip, as before.
  • New setting dashboardStationReach in config/create_train_functionality-common.toml: how far it looks, in blocks (default 4096, lowest 32 - Create's own reach). This is deliberately more than a plain Create train's controls offer; set it to 32 to match them.
