This is a salvage corporation. they sell leads to abandonded wrecks.
there is always paperwork...
but now you have a map to the general area the wreck is located. you'll still have to search though.

A couple of the 'services' a trade depot provides.
Blackline Salvage is one of the default Salvage corporations that ship with the mod.
They are always tinkering with things.
...but thats not a baaaaad thing.

Salvage Yards provide leads to salvage opportunities out in the wild.
