Create: Tow & Haul

Towing gear for physics vehicles built with Create: Aeronautics / Simulated. Rope things in with a real winch, or hitch up a trailer with a rigid drawbar and drive off. Everything here runs through actual physics — the rope is Simulated's own rope strand, and the coupling is a Sable constraint between two sub-levels. Nothing is teleported or faked.

Car Winch — a redstone-controlled winch that reels a real physics rope in and out. Tow Bar — the anchor point. Goes on the vehicle, the trailer, or anything you want to drag. Steel Rope — links a winch to a tow bar. Coupling — joins two tow bars with a rigid Create shaft, turning them into a working drawbar.

Winch and rope

Right-click the winch with a Steel Rope, then right-click a tow bar. Valid targets are highlighted and a preview line is drawn; sneak + right-click cancels. The winch reads its top and bottom faces separately, so one block does everything:

No signal	Freewheel — As soon as the cable becomes very taut, it will start to unwind, allowing you to drive away.

Shears cut the rope and give the Steel Rope back. So does breaking either end block.

Coupling: tow an actual trailer

Park two contraptions so their tow bars face each other, up to 4 blocks apart. Right-click the towing vehicle's tow bar first, then the trailer's — the first click is the ball side. A Create shaft appears between them and holds the two vehicles together. The joint locks only the three linear axes. All rotation stays free, which is what makes it behave like a real hitch:

The trailer follows the tractor through turns instead of being welded to its heading.
Both vehicles keep all wheels on the ground on hills, slopes and bumps — a height difference between the two hitches is baked into the joint rather than fought by the solver.
The coupling rolls a full 360°, so cornering on a slope won't flip your rig.

Hit either tow bar with a Create wrench to uncouple. The wrench rotates the winch and tow bar too.

All four items are crafted from Create parts — iron sheets, andesite casings, shafts and cogwheels — so they slot in right about when you start building physics vehicles.

Create: Tow & Haul

Сцепное оборудование для физической техники на Create: Aeronautics / Simulated. Тяни грузы настоящей лебёдкой или прицепляй прицеп через жёсткое дышло и поехали. Всё работает на реальной физике: трос — это родной rope strand из Simulated, а сцепка — констрейнт Sable между двумя саблевелами. Никаких телепортов и имитации.

Что добавляет мод

Лебёдка — управляется редстоуном, реально намотывает и отпускает физический трос. Фаркоп — точка крепления. Ставится на машину, прицеп или на то, что хочешь тащить. Стальной трос — соединяет лебёдку с фаркопом. Сцепка — соединяет два фаркопа жёстким валом из Create, получается рабочее дышло.

Лебёдка и трос

ПКМ стальным тросом по лебёдке, затем ПКМ по фаркопу. Подходящие цели подсвечиваются, рисуется линия-предпросмотр; Shift + ПКМ отменяет выбор. Лебёдка читает верх и низ отдельно, поэтому один блок умеет всё:

Ножницы режут трос и возвращают стальной трос. Ломание любого из блоков — то же самое.

Сцепка: настоящий прицеп

Поставь технику так, чтобы фаркопы смотрели друг на друга, не дальше 4 блоков. ПКМ сначала по фаркопу ведущей машины, затем по фаркопу прицепа — первый клик это сторона шара. Между ними появляется вал из Create, который держит обе машины. Констрейнт блокирует только три линейные оси. Все повороты остаются свободными — именно поэтому сцепка ведёт себя как настоящая:

Прицеп идёт за тягачом по повороту, а не приварен к его курсу.
На пригорках, спусках и кочках вся техника стоит колёсами на земле — разница высот фаркопов запекается в шарнир, а не отыгрывается солвером.
Сцепка вращается вокруг своей оси на 360°, поэтому поворот на склоне не переворачивает состав.

Гаечный ключ Create по любому фаркопу разбирает сцепку. Ключом же поворачиваются и лебёдка, и фаркоп.
