Create: Numismatics Shops turns Create: Numismatics into a full NPC driven shop system for servers and modpacks.
Walk up to a shopkeeper and trade — or open a shop from a command, a block, or another mod. The shop engine doesn't care which.
Players buy and sell with the money they already have in Numismatics: bank balance, a carried bank card, or loose coins, with change handled automatically. Buyback proceeds go straight into the seller's account.
Shops are data, not code. The jar ships no items, no prices and no shop content. A modpack supplies everything through data/<namespace>/numismatics_shops/, so the same build serves a Poké Mart in one pack and a fantasy blacksmith in another.
Features
- Fixed stock, plus any number of independently rotating stock groups
- Rotation on Minecraft game time — weekly specials, daily stock — persisted across restarts
- Weighted and unweighted selection, with or without replacement, and per-entry chance
- Stock limits, per-player allowances, cooldowns, and timed restocking
- Buy in bulk with a typed quantity, priced and paid as a single transaction
- Pick items by id, by tag, or by mod namespace — ideal for "ten random decorative blocks a day"
- Conditions: mod loaded, advancement, scoreboard, time of day, weather, gamemode, dimension, permission
- Shopkeepers that face nearby players, with skins from a resource pack, a player account, or a URL
- Live bank balance and spendable funds in the GUI, with category tabs and search
- Admin commands for spawning, inspecting, rotating, restocking and reloading
- A public API for other mods to open shops, add condition types, or observe transactions
Numismatics is the only economy. This mod stores no balances of its own — every read and write goes through Numismatics' own accounts and cards. Nothing duplicated, nothing to reconcile.
Transactions are server-authoritative. The client sends only which trade it wants; price, item, stock and limits are re-checked server-side.
Requires Create: Numismatics (and Create). Install on both server and client.
