Create Nuclear Fly: unofficial Fabric 26.2 port (alpha)
Create Nuclear brings a full nuclear system to Create: uranium ores, a refining chain, and a multiblock reactor that can power a whole factory, or melt down.
This is an unofficial port of Create Nuclear (originally NeoForge 1.21.1) to Fabric / Minecraft 26.2, built on top of Create Fly. It is not an official release and it is not maintained by the Create Nuclear Team. Please report problems with this port on its own tracker, not to the original team.
ALPHA. It has been tested a lot (see below), but it is a first release on a brand new Minecraft version. Back up your worlds.
What is in it
- Uranium, thorium, lead and nitrate ores, plus the whole refining process built on Create machines (bulk enriching, cryogenic fan / snow powder, etc.).
- Multiblock reactors in 5x5, 7x7 and 9x9, with blueprints, fuel rods, coolant, outputs that turn into rotation, and an alarm.
- Radiation: irradiated mobs, irradiated biomes, and the anti-radiation suit (dyeable).
- Meltdown: let a reactor run past its danger heat and the countdown ends in a nuclear explosion.
- Autunite palette, Create Nuclear advancements, display link sources, JEI categories.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2 (developed and tested on 26.2-rc-2)
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, Java 25
- Required: Fabric API and Create Fly (Create for Fabric 26.2)
- Optional: JEI
What was tested
Automated: dedicated server and client game tests (reactor assembling and running at all three sizes, rod consumption, output and alarm, meltdown and crater, save and reload, radiation with and without the suit, fans in the world). A recipe audit of the mod's recipes (server and client) passes.
By hand, in game: JEI categories, blueprint menu, a reactor built and fuelled by hand running up to danger and melting down.
Known issues
- Spawn eggs use a placeholder texture (the vanilla egg of the same animal, tinted green). Minecraft 26.2 removed the two-colour egg template.
- The reactor alarm has no sound yet (the sound file is missing in the original mod too).
- Not tested yet: running with Flywheel disabled.
- With Create: Dragons Plus installed, its freezing fan also handles powder snow; a compat recipe is included so Nuclear's fan recipe (nitrogen concentrate) still works.
