Create: Feather is a small addon for the Create mod that adds a new way to get feathers, with no chicken farm needed.

How it works

First, place wool in front of an Encased Fan with water in between (splashing). The wool turns into Bleached Wool.

Then, put the Bleached Wool in a Millstone/Crushing Wheel and it turns into feathers.

That’s it. Two steps, and both fit right into the Create way of doing things.

Why use it?

Get feathers without raising or killing chickens. The process is easy to automate with belts, funnels, depots, and deployers, and it gives wool a new use in your factory. It’s small and lightweight, and it won’t clutter your recipe list.

Adds a new item, Bleached Wool, along with a new Create splashing recipe (Wool → Bleached Wool) and a new milling recipe (Bleached Wool → Feathers).
