About
Create Deep Seas expands on the systems of Create and Sable to enable players to build, pilot, and survive in fully functional submarines. Dive into the darkest depths of the ocean, but beware: the abyss is unforgiving.
From managing your ballast tanks to surviving the crushing hydrostatic pressure and lurking leviathans, this addon turns underwater exploration into a terrifying and immersive survival experience inspired by titles like Subnautica and Iron Lung.
It features 4 core pillars of gameplay:
- Physics & Survival: The ocean depth is your biggest enemy. The mod calculates realistic hydrostatic pressure. Dive too deep without a reinforced hull, and your submarine will suffer micro-breaches, progressive flooding, and ultimately a catastrophic implosion that sinks your vessel to the ocean floor.
- Ballast Mechanics: Take control of your buoyancy. Use dedicated Ballast Tanks and Vents connected to Create fluid systems to regulate water and air mass, allowing your contraption to gracefully dive or surface.
- Atmosphere & Oxygen: Enclosed spaces require life support. Air quality degrades over time based on the crew size. Build and maintain Oxygen Diffusers to purify the air and prevent deadly suffocation.
- Immersion & Exploration: Enjoy an advanced water occlusion system that seamlessly hides water inside your hull (NOT SODIUM-COMPATIBLE). Build Moon Pools for deep-sea diving excursions, and face the ultimate test of survival against the leviathans that haunt the abyss.
