Create: DataForge

This mod is an addon to Create. With it, you can create datacenters, mine cryptocurrency, hash, and more!

Create: DataForge

Lg1 Lg2 Lg3

For Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1
Requires Create

Create: DataForge is a technology addon for Create that brings industrial data centers, server racks, fictional digital mining, compute contracts, cooling systems, and high-risk AI supercomputing to Minecraft.

Build your own server infrastructure, power it with Create machinery, connect it through data cables, cool it before it overheats, and turn raw computation into valuable in-game resources.

Important: Create: DataForge does not mine real cryptocurrency.
All currencies, markets, mining systems, credits, and blockchain-inspired mechanics are entirely fictional Minecraft gameplay systems.

About

Create: DataForge expands Create with a new industrial computing progression.

Instead of adding simple one-block generators, DataForge focuses on physical infrastructure: server racks, kinetic power conversion, data cables, cooling systems, market terminals…

The main resource of the mod is Compute Units. Server racks generate Compute Units, which can be used to mine fictional in-game currencies, complete compute contracts, render data drives, unlock advanced components, and progress toward larger computing systems.

Create: DataForge is designed to feel like a natural extension of Create: visual, mechanical, automatable, and satisfying to build.

Content

Server Racks

Server racks are the heart of your data center.

They can hold different components such as:

  • Server Boards
  • Processors
  • Graphics Cards
  • ASIC Miners
  • Memory Modules
  • Storage Modules
  • Cooling Modules

Each component affects compute output, power usage, heat generation, and efficiency.

Servers Rack

Kinetic Data Dynamo

The Kinetic Data Dynamo converts Create-style mechanical power into DataForge power.

Use shafts, rotation, and Create contraptions to feed your data center.

A better mechanical setup means more available power, higher compute output, and more room for expansion.

Kinetic Dyanmo

Data Cables

Data cables connect your infrastructure.

They are used to link server racks, controllers, dynamos, market terminals, and advanced machines into larger data networks.

Cable tiers include:

  • Basic Data Cable
  • Reinforced Data Cable
  • Fiber Data Cable
  • Overclocked Data Cable

Higher-tier cables are designed for larger and more powerful data centers.

Cables

Hash Controller

The Hash Controller manages fictional digital mining.

It gathers compute output from connected server racks and converts it into mining progress.

When enough work has been completed, the system produces fictional in-game currencies such as DataCoins.

Hash Controller

Market Terminal

The Market Terminal allows players to sell fictional currencies and processed data for Data Credits.

Market values can change over time, creating a simple in-game economy around computation and digital resources.

Data Credits are used for advanced crafting, upgrades, contracts, and future high-tier progression.

Market Terminal

Compute Contracts

Compute contracts turn raw processing power into useful outputs.

Examples include:

  • Rendering jobs
  • Data processing
  • AI training jobs
  • Simulation contracts
  • Market prediction tasks
  • Quantum optimization tasks

Contracts consume Compute Units and may require special items such as blank data drives, rendered data drives, neural matrices, or encrypted data fragments.

Cooling and Heat

Powerful machines generate heat.

If cooling is insufficient, machines lose efficiency, throttle, shut down, or enter dangerous states.

Cooling systems include:

  • Cooling Modules
  • Cooling Fans
  • Coolant Cells
  • Coolant Tanks
  • Coolant Pipes
  • Radiators
  • Liquid Cooling Pumps

Keeping your data center cool is essential for safe and efficient production.

Cooling Systems

Quantum Fabricator

The Quantum Fabricator is used for advanced crafting and high-tier technological progression.

It allows players to craft powerful processors, advanced modules, and components required for late-game computing systems.

Contract Board

The Contract Board is used to manage advanced compute tasks and higher-tier jobs.

It is designed for players who want to turn their data center into a full industrial computing facility.

Advanced Components

Create: DataForge adds several electronic and computing components, including:

  • Raw Silicon
  • Silicon Wafers
  • Printed Circuit Boards
  • Basic Processors
  • Advanced Processors
  • Quantum Processors
  • Graphics Cards
  • RTX Graphics Cards
  • Memory Modules
  • 16GB Memory Modules
  • 32GB Memory Modules
  • Storage Modules
  • Server Boards
  • ASIC Miners
  • Cooling Modules
  • Encrypted Data Fragments
  • Data Drives

These components are used to build and upgrade your computing infrastructure.

Fictional Currencies

The mod includes fictional in-game currencies used only for gameplay.

Examples include:

  • DataCoin
  • Data Credits
  • FluxCoin
  • BrassBit
  • ZincHash

These currencies do not represent real money, real crypto, or real blockchain assets.

They are purely Minecraft items and mechanics.

Planned Endgame: Neural Core

The long-term endgame of Create: DataForge is the Neural Core.

The Neural Core is planned as a massive multiblock AI supercomputer. Instead of placing a single machine block, players will build a large structure around an empty central cavity.

When formed, the center will display a holographic AI field: a glowing geodesic sphere, rotating rings, data particles, and energy beams.

The Neural Core will be capable of producing enormous amounts of Compute Units and running advanced AI jobs, but it will also be extremely dangerous.

If poorly cooled, it may enter a meltdown sequence, charge an implosion, and trigger a catastrophic explosion.

The Neural Core is designed to be a high-risk, high-reward late-game machine.

Safety Disclaimer

Create: DataForge does not mine real cryptocurrency.

The mod does not:

  • Mine real crypto
  • Connect to real wallets
  • Use real blockchain APIs
  • Ask for private keys
  • Ask for seed phrases
  • Connect to external mining services
  • Generate real money
  • Perform real Web3 transactions

All mining, markets, coins, wallets, and credits are fictional gameplay mechanics inside Minecraft.

Create: DataForge is designed as a Create addon.

Required:

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge
  • Create

Recommended:

  • JEI, EMI, or REI for recipes
  • Jade or The One Probe for machine information
  • Create-based automation setups

Optional integrations may be expanded in future versions.

FAQ
