☎️ Telephones
Home phone: a rotary phone you dial one digit at a time. Each phone has its own 5-digit number. It runs on 6 V or more from Power Grid: connect its back terminals with wire to a battery or generator. Phones on the same line can call each other, and incoming calls show the caller's number.
Bell: right-click a phone with a bell to give it the loud rattling ring of an old telephone, with a shaking bell cup. Phones can be dyed any color.
Payphone: makes outgoing calls only, for a token (a Create copper nugget by default). It has no number, so the person you call sees "Unknown number".
Service phone: placed next to a villager's job site, a call opens trading with that villager. If they can't answer, you hear "Subscriber unavailable". Placed next to a Stock Ticker's blaze burner or seated keeper, a call opens that ticker's order window from anywhere on the line.
📻 Radio
Radio station: a transmitter on channel 00–15. Link it to a Create Radars network controller with a data link. Its range matches the range of that network's radar. It broadcasts the redstone signal it receives, the sounds around it, and voices from headsets.
Radio: switches between transmit and receive, with a tuning knob from 00 to 15. It picks up any station on its channel within that station's range, and radios hear each other over open air up to 30 blocks. A receiving radio outputs the same redstone strength it hears, so you can build wireless redstone.
Walkie-talkie: right-click to start or stop transmitting (the antenna tip glows red). Shift + right-click a station's data link to join that station's network.
Headset with microphone: wear it to hear the station network. Your voice goes on air hands-free.
Radio microphone and radio speaker: blocks for PA systems. A speaker plays only radio microphones, and only while it has a redstone signal.
Radar marks: the radar monitor shows receivers in orange and transmitters in brown.
📣 Megaphone
Hold right-click to make your voice carry 16 blocks farther.
Right-click a radio speaker with a megaphone to fit it as a horn, which makes the speaker 32 blocks louder.
🔊 Sound reaches the world
Sound sent over radio or phone affects the world at the other end. Sculk sensors and wardens react to it, and a bell rung over the radio calls villagers home. Game sounds and music from jukebox records also travel through phones and radios.
