Description
Create: Coasters Simulated Additions is a NeoForge addon for Create: Coasters Simulated. It adds items that should be in Create: Coasters Simulated.
Features
Coaster Station
- Select a platform stretch and a pre-station stretch on the track, then place the station block anywhere.
- Sends four Redstone Link channels: occupied, analog weight, restraint bars, and pre-station.
- Optional auto dispatch: after a cooldown, when weight stays at the set threshold long enough, bars drop and the train is released.
Coaster Seats
- Rider seats in all 16 colours, styled to match Create: Interiors chairs.
- A matching Redstone Link raises the restraint bar and locks the rider in — they cannot dismount, even on a moving cart.
- Sneak + right-click with a Create Wrench opens a Modulating Linked Receiver menu: two frequency slots plus min/max range.
- Restraint Selector: pick over-the-shoulder, lap bar, T-bar, or both, then right-click a seat to apply it. Sneak + right-click copies that seat's style back onto the tool.
Coaster Track Sensor
- One right-click on the track picks a detection point; two clicks pick a stretch. Place the sensor block anywhere afterwards.
- Emits a normal neighbour redstone signal while a cart is at that point or in that region — no Redstone Link required.
- Optional weight mode scales the signal by how full the cart or coupled train is (seated players). Detection sound and on-rail plates can be toggled.
Track Control (Fin)
- A hitbox-free, coaster-styled block that behaves like a Redstone Magnet.
- Mark a stretch of track as a force-span: boost (launch), speed (hold), or stop (halt and pin). A redstone signal at the anchor turns it on.
- Empty-hand right-click the anchor to set strength and to switch Sound, Particles, Animation, and Delay. Animation and Delay default to off.
- Animation off keeps the blades fully raised. Delay waits until they are fully up before the span actually drives. When animation is on and the span is off, the blades sit parked a little above the rail.
- Wrench a cart to align every fin on the whole train.
Cart Cladding
- Toutatis Front Cladding: decorative, walkable nose. Place them on a sublevel like a normal block.
- Toutatis Cart Cladding: a four-seat body you can walk on. Chairs work like Coaster Seats with one shared restraint link; the Restraint Selector sets the bar style for all four chairs.
- B&M Inverted Cart Cladding is a four-seat hanging body with over-the-shoulder bars. Place it on a cart; you can walk on the chassis. Same shared restraint link as Toutatis.
- Cart Painter: primary, secondary, and tertiary colours. Right-click cladding to paint; sneak + right-click copies that piece's colours back onto the painter.
- Collision on every cladding piece matches the mesh, so you can walk on it.
Loose Chain Lifts
- Power a chain lift's starting anchor with redstone — the same way you power Track Control.
- The chain goes loose: carts are neither pulled nor braked, so they can roll downhill over it.
- The chain still moves with the cart, so it looks like a real free-running chain.
Water Currents
- Current Marker places an invisible point in water only. Current Path connects two markers into a flow, like coaster track.
- Free sub-levels in the water are carried along the path. Wrench the path to flip direction, set cruise speed and width, and bend the curve. Sneak + wrench deletes it.
- Current Heading locks a sub-level so its front stays pointed along the flow. Wrench the center box and drag the arrow — it snaps every 45°. Sneak + wrench the box removes the lock.
- Current Tilt keeps the deck upright in a current and leans the body with the slope on a lift. Wrench the cyan box the same way; sneak + wrench removes it.
- Current Float opens a menu: extra buoyancy on or off, and how high the sub-level sits in the water. Low sits deep, high rides on top.
Lift Paths
- Lift Marker places an invisible point in air or water. Lift Path connects markers into a dry conveyor that pulls sub-levels uphill, even out of the water.
- Same wrench as currents: speed, width and curve. End a lift at a drop — boats fall, splash, and a current can catch them.
Water Splash
- When a cart rides through water — a trough, a splashdown, a river under the rail — it throws a splash in the travel direction, a little up and to the sides.
- Faster carts throw more water, farther. The splash sound plays once as the cart enters.
Also included
- Linked Swivel Bearing — a Swivel Bearing that returns to its start angle on a matching Redstone Link pulse.
- Track Smoother — one click rounds bezier handles along the smoothest 3D path and auto-banks curves. Sneak + right-click undoes.
- Entity selector sittingcoaster=true, so commands can target people sitting in a coaster seat, e.g. /playsound coasterfins:taron_starter_launch record @a[distance=..15,sittingcoaster=true]
- Bundled Taron starter + launch soundtrack, playable with /playsound. Sounds from this mod stay audible while you are seated.
- In-game Ponder scenes for the main blocks, plus extra pages on Coasters Simulated's track, anchors, and carts for loose chains and water splash.
