Current Status (v0.2.0)

This version shoots to fix the instability v0.1 had regarding large physics-enabled contraptions. Textures have been updated and should function on mobile/physics-enabled projectors now. Full config available via the Create config (under Beam Me Up).

Projectors mounted as ordinary world blocks can be activated by redstone or by a bound Linked Recall Trigger. The same is true for physics-enabled projectors. Previous bug where mobile projectors on large contraptions caused lag/crashes patched.

Create: Aeronautics is a dependency, will have it linked properly by v1.0.

An initial Sable/Create Aeronautics moving-support slice is present. Linked Recall Triggers can store mobile Sable sublevel bindings, and projector block entities implement Sable's sublevel ticking hook. Moving/physics-enabled aircraft support is rudimentary but functional; the main known visual limitation is that projector active/inactive block textures may not update while mounted on physics-enabled/mobile aircraft.

The current dev runtime also includes JEI for recipe and tooltip testing. Beam Me Up compiles against Sable's common API for moving sublevel hooks, but does not currently compile against JEI or Create Aeronautics APIs.

Usage

Place a Transit Beam Projector where the ship should receive players. When the projector activates, it creates a temporary 3x3 pickup column beneath itself. Players standing in or entering the active column are teleported to the safe space above the projector.

Players standing on or just above the projector can also be deployed downward. The projector searches for the first safe landing space above the first solid block below it.

To bind a Linked Recall Trigger, right-click a Transit Beam Projector with an unbound trigger. Use the trigger while within the configured horizontal range to activate that projector. Shift-right-click air with the trigger to clear its binding.
